Then how it comes that on Blackrocks 2s ladder Fdk+Hpala is like every second time rank one on season end?
And this was even the case before blackrock had these custom class changes.
Unholy is just more popular. Thats why ppl falsly assume that its the stronger spec.
I have played both, unholy and frost DK together with a holy paly and I can tell u that frost is superior for 2s because of the extra CC with hungering cold and the high burst dmg with frost strike. Especially on high rating when u constantly face warr+hpala ull feel the need to switch to frost because u have hardly any chance to beat that comp as a unholy DK.
U wont have time to constantly clean the disease and heal at the same time.
Even if u manage to do it it doesnt really matter because frost usually kills the dps while the healer is kept in a chain CC of hungering cold+ strangulate+stun hammer.
1st fear lichborne, 2nd trinket, 3rd full, 4th full etc. In arenas dk comps will oom disc quite quickly or just tunnel them to death.
@Jakkre Cant rly throw Blackrock into the mix man. Frost is buffed on BR but unholy is pretty ****ing weak compared to what it was when brynthol was working.
To the point. On pve servers hpalas have sacred cleansing, that means atleast 4/10 hc's will be resisted along with frost strikes and chains of ice and hammer of justice. Sux to be a class with casts vs paladins
Frost is way better than unholy for 2v2, with or without the custom changes Blackrock has, so that includes Deathwing and Ragnaros.
Shadowmourne is really overrated for unholy, especially after shards nerf, it's barely any better than bryntroll.
Yeah, you can go and donate 150 coins to kill cloths slightly easier but vs higher armor, doesn't really matter are you using bryntroll or SM.
Pally warrior with sacred cleansing can be annoying but you can just use Hungering Cold when your team is dropping low to reset, if they start trinketing offensively you don't even have to do damage to catch them in good HC+hoj for kill.
