I don't think anyone is capable of topping the player named Warsound. He purposely made a raid with about 120+ people to attack Goldshire and Stormwind and maintain a 2-3 hour hold on the base until some Horde logged out and Alliance started to swarm the Mage Tower.
He comes back again to assault warmane staff members who were in goldshire at the time with a second horde. If you pay attention and see the dead bodies, Warsound is among them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1pE38q3e5s he kills Kear Wolf's alt later on.

So something like GM vs all of Frostwolf would add some world PVP flare or something like that.

If someone can do this again, and if Warmane can make an event like 100 vs 100, something in a WARcraft like fashion, I am all for it.

pvp is not dying, the realm is.

Same thing in BG's right ? if there's well geared ppl other side will loose. In arena most good players takes advantage of bugs/exploits. So wow is waste of time. :P

World pvp is larger scale of BG. Since raid should be much scale than BG. So they should be aware of the situation and work with unknown ppl to achieve/survive. I believe it's more harder & enjoyable than keeping 2 or 3 bases captured.

No because in World PvP you don't have 2 equal sized teams. You have a 20-40 man raid against random people that MAYBE also make a raid to defend but that almost never happens.

+ World pvp is laggy for many people

Of course 3v3 or 5v5 which does not exist here require more skill, no question about that. But in duel, you can also pretty much see if someone knows how to PVP or not... But that was not my point...

My point was that in Arenas, duels and even BGs (up to a certain point) I can control the outcome, or at least significantly influence the match/duel/bg, while in that world PVP **** u control nothing, there's no fun at all, and pretty much side that attacks is more organized and have the advantage over the other one... I did it countless times, and find no joy in it any more, and almost always just leave the area...

I did some World PvP on Frostwolf and all I can remember is: "Summ plz, ****** warlock -.-" For summ write 123" *chat got spammed with numbers* "CLICK!" "regroup or kick" "wait for all" *30 min later* "OK GO" "buff up first ******z -.-" *5 min after later* "ok next is thunderbluff" "lets zerg at og lmao xD x)" *15 min later all arrived at thunderbluff and it will repeat*

These are my experiences I make with world pvp

Well, truth be told. The realm is really dying. The exploiters and abusers are the ones that killed this realm. Look at the population of this realm. 2k players online during peek hours. No wonder everything is getting boring.

World PvP is really fun, but you need a much more active and populated realm for that kind of thing. It's like Horde vs Alliance in it's true form. Just remember the movies you watched when we were kids. Braveheart, 300, lord of the rings and all those massive war! it is definitely fun! I remember in my WoTLK days when you raid SW they raid Org back., it was an endless fight. You wouldn't know what to do, go to BGs or join the fun in world pvp. But now, this realm is just the worst of all.

So I decided not to waste my time here anymore and go where Warmane is at it's best. WoTLK, I don't mind going back to that expansion. It is the best private server realm that you can find in this world. I know it is hard to leave because of friends. That is why I am trying to open everyones eyes and ask themselves, are you really having fun? Or are you just getting pissed at the bugs and exploits and imbalances you see here everyday. You all have a choice, stay and be with your friends, or leave for a lot better gaming experience.

I can't help but agree at some extent, quitting a realm where you spent a good deal of time with friends/guild mates to start from nothing is not easy at all... befor starting playing mist of pandaria, i was going to play on lordearon instead but i didin't for 2 reasons...

1. I started to play with 3 friends and they didin't want to play on lordaeron because of the x1 rates... ( they no longer play...)

2. I really enjoyed my time back in Molten Sargeras Wotlk/cata i have great memories of those days... and as much as i enjoyed the expansion i knew it was not going to be the same anyways... why? because part of what made those memories great to me was the people i used to play with and these pople are no longer here.

I as many people believe... this realm can become greater than it is... but i fear that it won't reach that point in time... but as it is right now... i have this same feeling of doubt.. theres no day that i don't get angry because of cheaters, exploits and bugs and i wonder if i should actually just move on to lordearon or icecrown knowing that these realms are the server's priority... if the realm population continues to decline then i can see myself movin to a woltk realm

I have fully geared pvp toons on all expansions. Right now I'm enjoying Frostwolf the most for the simple reason that I like healing bgs on my resto druid that has abilities like displacer beast, disorienting roar and typhoon. Plus, I get instant bg queues as horde and win a lot with premades.

The fact is that each expansion offers different things as far as class design. No matter how well scripted the WOTLK server is, there just isn't a spec on that expansion that I enjoy playing as much as my Cata hunter or my MoP resto druid. And believe me, I've tried to find one, since I realize that WOTLK has the biggest population. I've tried my WOTLK resto druid, but it's just not as fun as the MoP one because there's just a lot less you can do- e.g. no typhoon knock-offs.

So I'll stick with MoP and Cata and I'm having a lot of fun doing it, for all the criticism those servers get on Warmane.

Well... of course we have a choice, even before they made Lordaeron we had a choice... But the fact is that not everyone agrees with you, meaning that Lordaeron might not be a better gaming experience for everyone. Yes, it has more ppl and more content, and even way more fixes, but it's still 10 year old game with hideous graphics and 10 second duel matches and 20 seconds Arena matches.

I been playing exactly on Lordaeron before famous meltdown for years, and I can't tell you how refreshing I felt when I moved to MoP. So like I said, not everyone feels WOTLK is better gaming experience... I really enjoy MoP even in current state, which in deed is bad and sad, but still fun enough.

And tell me this... How long u assume WOTLK realms will hve population as high as it is now? Several years ago, Lordaeron also had huge population, and before moltdown decreased to 1.5 - 1.8k. My point, after most of the ppl gear up all the toons they want, every single server starts to decline.. I expect no difference here. To be fair, they really did amazing job on Lordaeron, so I don't expect it to go to 1k like before, but it will go down for sure.

MoP on the other hand, has a room for huge improvement. If they ever do even half of the things they did on Lordaeron, they will need extra realms here as well.

Lordaeron's population has already started declining indeed.

Well, for me, it is proven difficult to quit this realm. I agree with WoTLK it has hideous graphics. If only MoP is being developed like it should, the most important thing first should get fixed. They should have concentrated on class balances first before adding PVE content, after all, they updated to Prideful Season. A lot of players will be playing PvP.

if you stay in timeless isle at busy hour, you will have endless pvp on you,
both horde and alliance players will do PVP on you on the isle for blood coins~
