Unholy DK is just one spec out of 36 specs. You're basing your whole argument around 1 spec. People switch talents? So what? They get to choose a different talent from each tier for certain fights. That's awesome. And then you wanna talk about artifact weapons? Like they are customisable or something? No, they are a linear progression of upgrades... and what do those upgrades do exactly? Oh, they are the exact same upgrades as you would get from MoP and WoD when they made old talents passive. In Legion you don't get passive talents anymore, they are tied to an artifact weapon instead and you have to grind for them. Wow, such amazing customisation, such complex gameplay.

I think it's funny you think I never played Legion though, I have 3 retail accounts all upgraded to Legion. 2 EU accounts and 1 US account, all pre-ordered before it was released. I've subbed to Legion for a total of 2 months between all three accounts (not including the 30 days free on each account when you buy the expac). That's how much it sucks to me. I donate the same amount to this server each month as it would cost me to sub those 3 accounts on retail. I would rather spend that money here playing a game I enjoy than pay money for that trash excuse called retail.

I live in Munich, Germany. The rent for a appartement here is over 1200 € per month so I guess u can imagine that I have enough money to afford a wow sub fee. Lol.

Its not about if I can afford the money. Its about if Blizzard deserves so much money.
For what they provide I consider ~190 € per year too much.
Also, I'm not hating at Blizzard. I just dislike in what direction Blizz is moving and I don't feel like supporting them.

Actually why u brag all about retail and changes ? Actually yeah Blizzard changing things for example the new loot tables in BGS Arenas and Worldquests and now? They did it to rise the Population nothing else and that is something warmane missed. They develop and add custom content to populated realsm and ignore the "dead realms". And thats why realms dying and other rise up.

Definitely better than the inability of separating "buying" some item directly - an item you can still get in the game through the original canon effort - and gambling with lootboxes, which is the real issue, be them cosmetic of not.

thats your own opinion i consider 190 euro per year a very cheap price for the amount of hours entertainment i get.if you play the game 2 hours a day thats 60 hours a month for 15$ i think its worth.

@Freitildr buying the exp do not give you 30days free only buying the base base give you that..curious you didnt know that since you have buy legion expansion 3 times on 3 account according to your statement.
i give you unholy DK as example because i play dk and monk and monk didnt exist back in WOTLK.i also play holy paladin compare that to holy in WOTLK where you spam 1 button holy light and thats all you do.legion classes are more complex because there is synergy between your ability something that almost didnt exist in wotlk.

also the convo is about WOW non of the above models exist in WOW.

Fair enough. So I've subbed a total of 60 days across 3 accounts for the entire expansion. Pretty underwhelming isn't it?
Actually, the only reason I pre-ordered 3 copies was becasue of the free 100 character boosts for my accounts. To me it wasn't so much a case of buy the expansion and get a free boost, it was more a case of, buy a discounted boost and get a free crappy expansion you don't even want because you know it's gonna be garbage before it's even released. And it was, and so will BoA be.

Why should it be your problem? How exactly does it affects your game play (beyond "feels" at least)? Does the content gets harder for you? Does your drop chance gets capped? The power of your equipment gets reduced because someone else has it? Your skill in PvP suddenly vanishes because they have that gear? Does your guild disbands or all your friends mute you and go play with someone who bought a Shadowmourne? Again: barring things like "e-peen envy" how is your game directly affected?

Then why did you reply to someone talking about Overwatch to defend its lootboxes in the first place?

it effect me because if there is a raid spot someone who have buy the gear and because of that is way more geared then me will get the spot over me.if effect me in PVP because takes months to get fully gear and all this months you get destroyed in PVP by people who can instantly buy the gear.skill dont have anything to do with it with lower gear you will be able to beat only people who are really underskilled compare to you but the moment you face someone who is slightly less skilled then you there is no chance of winning.you have to be masochist to try gear up from zero on current icecrown.this is exactly my i as well have buy all the gear on my ret paladin with coins.
on other hand you can buy 1 bilion boxes in overwatch that will not effect the gameplay at all,just the way your champion look.this is exactly why comparing EA b2 with blizzard is stupid.

the guy said blizzard are the same as EA b2 and give example overwatch,and this is his reason not sub to WOW.he also pointed that blizzard ask for 30$ for faction change and how this is insanely price,i guess he fail to see warmane faction price is also 30$.this whole discussion after that is out of place.

So all you have is indeed "muh feels"? Because all the things you're listing would happen anyways, it just would take time. On Icecrown especially it would already have happened even if people didn't get a single item out of their donations. The fact you keep having to point out "months" just shows the real issue is your personal sense of accomplishment is based on "I have, they don't." You having it doesn't matters, because someone else got it in another way or faster than you. How do you deal with the fact that something you might have tried for months to get could drop to someone else on their very first try? Are you going to rage about how that's unfair, about how you put oh so much effort and they got it so easily too?

But it does affects the game play, as Jim would explain to you. It might not be a mechanical advantage, but it still affects it. Simply playing the game isn't enough for most of the players, they also want to look good. It's the very reason so many people freak out over transmogrification. People feel accomplished if they wear a skin they like or if they can spam that annoying emote over and over. It can be more important to lose looking good than to win with a default skin.

And he's correct. But you, with your "it's just cosmetic," can't see it and are part of the problem.
