There is a thing called reputation,you can get enough gear from them to run normals>get some emblem upgrades>heroics>raids.BoE are cheap af too,so your point is moot.You can also craft some gear if you have tailoring as a profession.

Or you don't get in all that ****ing trouble and roll equally for an item that's good for your main spec even if it wasn't originally designed for it.
