Although, its a good buck for me, gotta admin that announcing something like the gold squish defies the initial purpose. People got the ''hang of it'' and around that time prices are so artificially inflated that is a joke. Basically at this point you have transferring of gold from the casuals (like Fred) to the ones that are willing to do commodity investment for holding value. After the first squish, which actually had effect I never needed to farm anything again, just because of the above.
I do like selling primos @800, when i got them @300 but sinking mechanic could be interesting, depending on what it would reward +1 on this.
