For gold I just gave an example for what a wipe cost to me as player of frostmourne who did 8/12 hc with 5k7 gs with 0%buff
Im sorry we are not doing 8/12 with 30%buff 7k gs we dont play same game

Let me explain to you my son: we want reset cd after wipe cuz we dont want wast time to wait 3-5 mins for cd we are not fighting normal boss with 7k gs we are not playing same difficulty

It is not about paladin buff. Everybody and everything should already know that Classic is not WotLK. Different code, different interactions, different scalings and values. That's why you can't and shouldn't bring it up as example.
Heroism/Bloodlust has only 5 minute CD, with 2 shamans you can spam it endlessly after each wipe. If someone decides to not die - it is his choice to keep debuff.
And last, but not least - your choice to go Frostmourne, doesn't make you elitist. GJ looking my armory, but i don't care. I could go and be absolutely sweaty tryharder proud of pixels, but i came here to enjoy game. Doesn't mean i'm bad at classes i'm playing, I could easily go and carry my own weight and a bit more.

And why do you want to make this 2008 game into some modern day soulless "better game"? You came here to play 2008 game, then call people who want 2008 game elitists, because they don't agree to some shallow changes that would change the flow and mechanics in a major way.

It's stupidity akin to going on WinXP user forums and tell them to use Win11 or they are elitists. Go and play what you want to play, don't try to force your stains on people who came here to enjoy what's offered.

It's because they want all the pixels, without having to work for it, or the work being minimal. That's the 2023 gamers for you.
Warmane could also go the route of classic, and put a subscription fee here. I mean, that's pretty much what all your new games are about, also should battle pass be added?

If you're so bad at this 2008 game, that you need CD reset with wipe, maybe you should practice how to raid in your 2023 game first.
Wipes happen for a reason, and if you don't take that little downtime learning from the process, you will keep on wiping. You keep on wiping regardless your CD being reset or not.

So basically, a learn to play issue.

Say icecrown player who can do only 8/12 with 7k gs 30% buff and call us we are bad at 2008 game

Just for your information we did LoD with 0%buff 5k8-6k gs max on frostmourne

I let you think about who is bad at this 2008 game

And i will said it to you again i will not answer you again we are not playing same game deficulty

In over a week not once someone gave any argument about the downside I pointed out. Instead all that came afterwards were either childish insults or wildly unrelated comments about 2008 vs. current year.

The most ironic of it all is that I much prefer how FF14 handles the same situation (which Blizzard did what Blizzard does best and copied on "Classic"), leaving food buffs, resetting most cooldowns and either dropping you right in front of the boss or giving teleports to get back there fast. I don't see any deep purpose or sense of pride and accomplishment to waiting on cooldowns like that and no player is "better" or "more hardcore" because they accept wasting time needlessly. But I also know our playerbase in general is more about the old WotLK experience in full, including these artificial "hardships" and said need to "learn," as can be seen by the comments against this suggestion.
