Oh, kid, you need to grow up. There was zero "entitlement" in the OP.
1. "Getting gold is easy" - suggests putting up random greens for 1-5g.... HUH?! At the rate greens drop, from ANYWHERE, I could LOOT more gold per hour almost anywhere, ignoring greys, than your ABSURD suggestion.
2. The idea that guilds are essentially worthless, in a game in which they've ALWAYS been EXTREMELY important, on all servers EXCEPT this one, shows there's an issue with this server.
3. The economy on this server is BEYOND BROKEN. I have never seen a worse economy (in WoW) in all the years I've played. That includes all forms of retail and several private servers. Yeah, including some private servers that had been around longer than this one. There's something wrong here, I'm just not 100% sure what it is yet. I have my suspicions though.

I fully support the author, especially regarding pvp, I thought that on onyxia TBC would be better but in the end they shoved damn blackrock with free gear in there too lol

Yup, this server is completely toxic to new players. The insane gear requirements, even for frakking normal dungeons, is beyond silly, and the gankers are straight-up psychos. If you don't find a good guild, then forget doing anything after you just hit 80

I have been playing a bit recently after another long break, and I guess some things will never change.
Add to the list:
- Very poor player attitude in PVE Pugs, especially RDF, 25mans (any) and ICC repruns. Way too many people seem to be competing for the title of "Laziest player that didnt get kicked".
Not buffing, slacking off in pulls and doing barely above autoattack, asking for a summon when everyone is departing from Dalaran etc

PvP is masochist experience. Totally broken and I have had never worse arenas then here. It won't get any better due to let's say systematic issues.
PvE from my perspective is not that bad. In busy hours there's no bigger issue to find RDF even if you are not tank.
Raids can be some pain when you are low geard and going with pugs. Their requirements are just big joke. Raiding with guild are smooth. ICC is doable in 3 hours.
However, to raid previous patches is hard to find group. Naxx / Uldu is almost impossible to find ppl. Next reason to get into some guild.

Find someone from the Ender Save You guild and we will take care of you. I personally have jumped on my Tank and ran RDFs with fresh 80s/new people just to help them along.
I also can advise you how to grind. Do your daily RDF, get a gathering profession and farm higher end materials and sell them in the AH for gold. Its a slow grind but everyone does it if they want money.
RDFhc daily + VOA10 + VOA25+ Weekly EoF quest = 16 EoF a week. Aside from that grind you can also do FOS/POS over and over and over for EoT and gear items. It doesnt take a LONG time nor just a week, but pretty soon you can get enough of a gear score to be taken to ToC and ICC. People here really don't do Uld or Naxx or OS. Sometimes youll see an Ony group but mostly its RS, ICC and ToC.
Its a grinding game and I 10000% understand people do in fact gatekeep ICC but you will find Sunday and Monday the requirements are a LOT more lose. Be sure to have gems and enchants before you try to go with a pug to increase your chances. There are super loose requirements to go VOA and ToC. You should find getting to 5k gs comes fast and then slows down more and more as you get closer to 6k gs.
