Clarify this to me if I'm wrong, but that's not what I can conclude by reading certain quotes of the Quran, which is basically the holy bible of islamism. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pa.../violence.aspx . Even if it is just a minority that goes out killing others, unless these other muslims have another bible I don't know of (and that'd be basically a different religion), you cannot deny that the religion supports violence.

And even if the religion isn't violent, in their culture women are subordinated, for example, and many other things I disagree with. I can't defend a religion that takes freedom away from people. If islam is generalized, we'd be going hundreds of years back in time.
It's alright that they want to live with this culture, I won't go to the other side of the world to make war on them, but please don't bring this to other countries.

And, 'discriminating' others should not be seen as a crime. What you can't do is attack other people for their beliefs/culture/whatever, you'll be infringing their rights by doing so. But if you don't want to provide a private service to someone for whatever reason, this should be your right. After all you should be the owner of your own life and of your private properties, and not a government's puppet that will be forced to do whatever they want you to do.

Discriminating people for their skin is irrational, I do not know any scientific studies that proves people tend to be more competent than others for their skin color.
However, denying yourself to do something to others based on their religion should be your right. For example, you have 10 appartments to sell, and you live close to them. You have people from X and Y religion making the same offer. You believe that people from Y religion will cause more harm than the X, and then you make your decision. Picking X is a discrimination, but it should be your right to do this decision whatever way you'd like.

I do agree heavily with this, there should be NO gender order in anything, everyone is equal in rights no matter of gender. I really don't see why Women are so persecuted, when in reality women are the reason this world carries on... This world would not sustain if Men outnumbered women to the point that there were little women who were able to produce, but women could outnumber men and this world would carry on being sustained generation after generation. Yet every year thousands of women are murdered, attacked, raped etc.

That's a feminist speech. Yes, thousands of women are murdered, attacked, raped, etc, but so are men. Violence happens to both genders, in my country at least more men are murdered than women, perhaps because the society cares about women more than men. But defending only one gender is not an efficient way to fight against violence, it even looks like the belief that women are superior than men exists.
When you want to defend something, you must look to all sides. Everything has causes and consequences, but is the belief that women are inferior actually the cause of the statistics we see?

Men are murdered, raped, abused and attacked. Women are not special snowflakes when it comes to general human suffering.

Perhaps because women tend to be less agressive than men. Look at the causes, not only the statistics.
Sometimes you may see more gender X is accepted than gender Y at colleges, for example. But then you have that gender Y tends to pick more difficulty disciplines.
Unless men are directly denying women for their gender, you will hardly be able to use statistics as a solid proof of discrimination. You'd be seeing that every day if it was true.

Feminism isn't necessary, but it exists. Politicians need to create problems to come up with the solution (and earn them votes), and by doing so they give the population the feeling that bigger governments that control your life more actively are better than smaller ones.
Bigger governments = more politicians earning their lives without actually being helpful to society.
And that's how people slowly lose their freedom. The USA, for example, used to be an almost completely free country centuries ago. Nowadays the government even has the right to spy on you and they don't even need a reason, for example.

Like Lank said, it's about sending a message and trying to divide the masses. The safe-haven that was Brussels is on its knees.

Belgium have already been under pretty heavy criticism for how long it took them to find the last Paris attacker, they'll soon face another media pounding as two of the attackers passed the terminal area with explosives. It's been a colossal failure on their part, and IS exploited this (as well as retaliating for the capture of the last Paris attacker).

I did that in the other post already. In this post, what I wanted to know is if you agree with taking away the freedom of choice from people.
Like in the example I gave, do you think the government should take my freedom of choice away by deciding for me what I should do with my private property? Should I not be able to deny a service to Y religion because I think they can cause harm to my property?
