I'm not going to keep addressing you when you keep making the same points that have been addressed multiple times previously in the thread, but you refuse to accept or hear out. If you have additional points, I'll address them.
You coming in and posing the same argument 5 times, then thinking you have a "gotcha!" moment when nobody addresses it on the 5th time is not effective and people see through it. Present something new that we can discuss, or leave it.
Ofc you wont respond, doesnt fit your narative. Once you post a fact, ill doublecheck it and we good. But dont play this hide and seek with me when we all know you are just talking nonsense. You do have persistance, i give you that. But repeating the same nonsense over and over again wont turn it into facts.
I would argue that Berserker's Call should not be used in any current relevant discussion because whatever happens will be fleshed out long before ZA is released regardless.
Then why dont we give the Onyxia realm a chance first to show that its PvP scene can work independently of an additional instant 70 PvP only realm?
additionally:
did you consider reasonable prices for pve pieces?
e.g. if a item has a 15% drop chance and is contested by an average of 8 players in a raid, it will take you an average of 16 weeks to get it. Considering that you may need 3-4 items from each raid, a average pve item should require approximately 3 AP flushes on a semi high rating
New server launches -> people are hype -> people play every facet of the game.
Server is months in and late in a certain phase -> certain parts die out (like PvP) -> you're left with people spamming "Queue AB" and posting 4 hour queue screenshots.
The test of "let's use the first few months of hype to gauge Onyxia's PvP longevity" will be skewed. You want evidence? Take a look at Onyxia now. Add in a supplementary PvP-only server, and you provide longevity even through content droughts and past the times of initial hype.
New expansion launches*. Idk how to edit posts on here, sorry for double post.
Any idea on the timeline of Onyxia moving into TBC? just a general idea.
Berserker's Call was and is ONLY an example... @you to blake
again my issue is vendor gear for blackrock.. like i said give onxyia same vendor..
you get professions how on BlackRock? rep locked enchants and the like...
on onxyia i have to farm gold to put into leveling professions..right?
pvp vendors for PVP gear on a arena server 100%! PVE GEAR+ on a vendor for an arena server..?
full pve gear and battle masters trinkets should be enough for black rock because of skill.
100% like the tbc arena server just not sure why now?why not after TBC on onxyia? so player pool and all is not effected?
would players on blackrock be able to get say gorehowl for AP when us on onxyia have to raid for it?
or any other example..
if yes = broken.
Yes, we can.
You are welcome to disagree. Bans are issued based on the manner in which people choose to express themselves - specifically, in a disrespectful manner aimed at the staff. I know everyone here is capable of expressing their displeasure without breaking that rule.
Not at this time. There is still a sizable amount of work that needs to be done.
@Thread, I want you all to know that we are still debating the finer points within the staff. Conversations that you have about them here does benefit that. I would like to encourage you all to keep the conversation in that direction than to make things personal between each other. Having differing opinions is to be expected and there's no need to attack each other over it.
How about some suggestions to make it fair?
1. Why not just block the current tier PvE gear behind arena rating requirements so you need actual skill to unlock like you would in a raid? And then once you get the rating requirement you can maybe have the items in a lockbox that have a chance of dropping that you can only buy once a week?
2. Why not release Blackrock at a later scheduled date? Supposedly it's a PvP supplemental realm so I don't see why we need it around launch time. Just release it later like when S1 is available for honor points. And that way Warmane and players can get a clean first season and see the clear differences in the following season. If it's experimental then why not compare and test?
3. How about you remove the "Icecrown" and "Blackrock" realm names on players so nobody can tell the difference? Then nobody will even know.
Here's a side note with the current way it's setup. Blackrock is actually at a disadvantage so it isn't an actual competitive realm. The end result is it will just be a noob realm that people will always make fun of the whole next year. It's really funny that there are 20 pages of comments that think Blackrock players will be some kind of threat to the game. Bunch of players in green gear that instant leveled their toons and don't know how to play the game really?
