I usually eat like twice per day, with only one of them being a decent meal. Anyway, if you wanna deal with depression, the best starting point is to care more about yourself - eat, sleep, exercise, do some housework, go out, have fun, do recreation, care for your own body. Soon you'll realize that the saying "healthy mind, healthy body" is actually very true.
I'm speaking from experience as well as from a 300-page psychological book, which I read back to back yesterday afternoon. Helped me realise that I'm a mildly depressed dependent loser. Especially the "dependent" part, which has basically been ruining the last decade of my life. So now I have to change my entire mindset and become more self-centered.
