You have been disconnected from the server

For anyone having the problem with intstantly disconnecting. Go to the folder where you saved wow. Then open data. Then open the realmlist file and change it to "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" worked for me.

TRY THIS IT IS WORKING

i can't change the realmlist...it says is read-only...any help?

Well i know the feeling... I have been reduced to playing LOL .. it is now12:26pm server time and I have been trying to log since 5am server time.. really sucks

I've got some new info about the issue, it's been fixed few minutes ago, but some people will still be unable to log in because it will take some time for it to update (~30 mins). Also, like i already mentioned use the realmlist provided on our download page.

right click, prop, then uncheck the read only thing !

PS: i did all this still dose not work for me, i deleted game and downloading it again, 5'th time now , let's see if now things work ! i will give you gys my feedback !

Hello, today i had a problem when i tried to enter my account it said connecting and then it instantly disconnected me, it happened a couple of times.
After some time it got fixed and i logged in, later today when i tried to login again i keep getting disconnected, even now.
It says nothing except "You have been disconnected"
It has been a good 20minutes already

Any suggestions?

ty man...i've change the realmlist....now i'm stuck at "connecting"....and after that "can't connect to server...try again later"

i have your client..!! but still can;t log in!!
she log in after 1 sec..you are disconect from the serv!!
