[Guide] Frost PvP

I play Frost in arenas just fine. 3 resil JC gems in my yellows isthe only resil I'm gemming, amd I'm sitting in full T2 Vic +.

So i don't understand. why are we not using oblit now? it hits harder than frost strike .-.

No it doesnt hit harder than Frost Strike. There was a nerf on Oblit in the 4.3 update, the patch notes I posted on the top of the guide.

Not if ypu're mastery stacking with a decent weapon. Oblit and FS base damage are the same now, the only reason Oblit would hit harder now would be because you're stacking Haste and not mastery.

also obli takes 2 of your runes to use. It is costly, it also doesn't ignore armor like FS.

So Obli and FS are both affected by resil, but FS ignores armor. At least that's what Reinhart said :x

Correct. Your spening 2 runes on Oblit, when for the same ammount of runes get an 2 howlings (which with mastery is some nice damage) and a Frost strike... Thats a LOT more damage than your oblit.

Oblit = Physical Attack (Takes armor into account)
Frost Strike = Physical Spell (Doesn't take armor into account)

Can anyone share some tips on fighting a blood DK as frost? I was hoping I could just go head on and I would kill them before they can bring me down, but it seems I can't :( Going crazy with Necrotic spams would be a big help I assume?

So if I understand this correctly, I should spam howling blast and Frost Strike and use Death Coil only as heal or anti-kite. But what sfould i spend my unholy runes on? If i am not fighting against a healing class?
