Look I am sure if he has time to play a video game then it shouldn't be all that odd for him to be able to spend $10 if plans to go at this for the long haul, as it would simply end up being more economical. I don't think we need to go about talking about standards of living with regard to a luxury good, gaming is a luxury otherwise if you are so busy trying to budget then I would just suggest you focus on your immediate priorities and improving your lifestyle so you won't feel so deprived.

But hey I know a bunch of people here who don't exactly come from a good country or have high incomes, yet, they still manage to easily shell out $10 as they know how to budget or work their *** off overtime.

It's not that I couldn't afford it, I certainly can. But that amount is relatively big when converted to our currency. Alongside the fact the I am a student and wish not to burden my parents more.

That is why I wish to know if it is worth to shell out that amount of money.

Concerning the "nice restaurant" issue. They do exist, sadly I can't show any of you guys links that has prices in them because it is rare to see a restaurant here that even have a website. (Usually the ones that have a website are the ones that are actually expensive.)

Lastly, as some of the people that posted here already said that they're satisfied with the service and that the amount of money that will be spent is worth it I see no more point on advancing the topic as my question has already been answered.

Not worth it, dont do it.

I didn't donate not because 10 dollars is alot (7 euro here) but because of what i am spending this money on. It is a computer game. Earlier i could play normally without donating. Now i want to play MoP, i have limited time to do it and queues are preventing me from playing. So i donated these 7 euro just to skip queues. That's it. This is not some serious investment which you need to calculate ROI on. It is like VIP pass to a concert of your favorite band. If you really want to see it, you will pay.

As for the comments that 10 dollars (7 euros) can feed you for a week, buy dinner for family - yes i agree. But remember how you spent those 10 dollars or even more on stupid things that you didn't really need. So all in all if you think this is worth it? Do it.

That still would go for more than 10 bucks if you went with four people, even if no one drank anything, everyone just ate one thing, no tip was left, etc.

Anyways, yes, you don't need to convince the thread creator. But you talk like everyone saying U$10 isn't that much as if they are all rich kids from USA. I'm not, as others saying that aren't.

Yes, it worth donating.

Specially for the reason that you just mention, don't look at the matter that you are spending X amount of money, think that you are going to save BIG amount of time by instantly log-in and use your probably limited amount of time playing instead of waiting in the Queue.

You may think that is a lot of money, well... If you are the ones that leave your computer ON waiting in the Queue for hours if not days, remember that your ARE consuming electricity and you or your parents are going to pay that bill at the end of the month and within a year should be more expensive than donating + the time that you HAVE WASTED in the Queue and/or become frustrated because of it.

Its simple.

Do you play on WOTLK and Cata?
if yes, do you need any items?

Do you Play on MOP?
Are you ok with spending 10-12+hours in queue waiting so you can play 2 hours :P( yeah sounds hilarious)

2 packs of cigarettes or 3 beers in club. Pick one and sacrifice.

Another idea; convert all the hours you spent waiting into payed working hours and you'll see how much you actually lost. 10$ will be a drop in that sea of money.

The fact that you own pc that is capable of running wow says that at some point you had not 10, but at least 200 EXTRA dollars to spend. You may argue, that you don't want to pay out of some principle, but Wow is really time consuming and for something that takes such a big portion of someone's time, investing 10$ to improve that exerience by multiple times is really silly amount.

you are not paying 15 per mth to play wow
so why not support the folks here that are making this possible?
you donations allows then to employ thos that fix the problems and hardware, plus no que time when logging in and other goodies you can buy

13 bucks for 11 points only a few options to use the coins
but I find the best value is 35 for 35 coins

I don't know why they just don't make the first donation $15 for 15 coins

It's only worth donating if you don't like staying in queues and fancy a few coins. :)

I personaly donated only for skiping Queue and no items because thats wort it

My bad on the US, i meant more developed countries with higher living standard+wage+cost of living. I did not imply rich either.

The point im trying to make is, as the op in from a country with a different currency, 10$ is significant. It's not "just $10". Anyways i do believe this discussion can end here? Question answered.

Frankly, given that the OP isn't even making his own income and relying on parents I don't think the discussion about restaurants and family dinners is all that important because he isn't the one putting the food on the table, it is irrelevant. That said I know his country based on those pictures and I can say $10 really isn't that much, it is the equivalent of one weeks allowance for a student there at least. Simply put, it isn't going to cost him an arm and a leg but since he isn't making his own money well you know... everything will seem expensive when you aren't a working adult :P

I have never been sorry for donating anyways ;)

But can you only donate in euros? I am in USA so I need a USD option.
