CC's are a joke!

i think Dr doesn't work 100%,specially stuns,it should Dr like for exemple a 6c sec war stun into a rogue kidney shot or paladin stun,it should Dr but actually you sit 12 sec on stuns and die there,it's even worst then fears because fears will broke at 10% domage of your Hp while stun will just broke when you are probably dead.

After testing it last night, diminishing returns do work

1st fear --> Around 5 secs
2nd fear --> Around 2.5 secs
3rd fear --> Around 1.5 secs
4th fear --> Immune

Also tested with shiva mez

1st mez--> Around 10 secs
2nd mez --> Around 5 secs
3rd mez --> Around 2.5 secs
4th mez --> Immune

However with the varying amounts of DIFFERENT TYPES of CC's, you can perma CC some one. My test dummy (sorry buddy :P) was locked out completely by this

Shadow fury --> Fear --> Mez --> Howl --> Mez --> Blood Horror --> Mez --> Fear --> Shadowfury --> Repeat. It did not feel like there was any sort of DR on this.

Ppl complain about WoD because it lacks content...but WoD was clearly ment to revamp the pvp system. 90% of the changes announced b4 it started were for PvP (DR and such). the lack of PvE content is likely just due to them not having alot to go with based on the premise. WoD is not at all fine if you're a pvper. Tons of top pvpers quit because the pvp in WoD is absolute ****, worse than any previous expansion. WoD sucked all of the fun out of pvp.

Also as a previously high rated arena player on retail (quit because wod blows), it seems like the vast majority of the complaints in this thread are just people who don't know how to play. Yes MoP has a lot of instant cc, and maybe there are a few bugs with DR here (only just starting here so I cant speak to bugs), but most of these people sound like they're just getting outplayed. If your teammates are not helping you stop CC, eating/lifegripping/MDing hunter traps, positioning correctly, etc. then you're going to have a bad time. Also if you don't have a healer that's good at dispelling, it's pretty frustrating.

so whats the deal ? - its MOP.. I quess all here wants - that dews change CC times for each class - balance ? Its random stuff, not retail.
I know its kinda sucks - CC situation in MOP, buts its MOP. How to solve the problem ? Rerrol. Warlock, priest, rogue, druid. :)

Thank you for your efforts, but this is not a true test by testing only the simplest possible scenario. The real testing will be by testing how DR works for different ones of the same type. The types are roots, stuns, incapacitates, disorients, silences and AoE knockbacks. It would be nice to see how well each different one is working. Depending on where they put the diminishing returns program code it would tell us if testing each different spell is worthwhile or not.

Also interesting would be to test to see if all the meta gems that are supposed to reduce effects 10% for stuns, fear, roots works or needs to be bug reported.

this is hilarious, I've posted this bug on the bugtracker and it got shot down multiple times coz they say "its visual only".... visual my a*rse! you can't even blink!

but they are not gonna fix this, its pretty clear from the replies I got
