reputation rates

First thing, people wont leave. Maybe there will be 200-300 players leaving and thats it. 200-300 players is nothing for Warmane.

People are saying **** about Warmane being greedy for donations. They aint greedy, its just a normal thing to get more donations in to improve their services. Starting off with a planned WOD server etc. They have to hire more developers etc.

I personally dont like the x1 rep's but its the way it is.
Professions x1? I love it, but first I wanna see stuff fixed on Frostwolf so we can actually get them to max with x1. Professions will now be something meaningful.

All in all, changes can be good sometimes.

WOD servers aren't being planned atm I dont think, especially since the other three expansions aren't close to completely fixed as well as most of community doesn't even want WoD (I am on those who want WoD side btw)

I feel like people who joined sageras, nelth, frostwolf for the sole reason that they are not x1 everything (100% hardcore/full experience). Now reducing reputation rates somehow increases or improve the economy?....I'm okay with proffesion and gold rates though but reputation doesn't make sense.. atleast for me. Feels like community doesn't have a say in this type of change.(i know this server is supose to be "blizzlike" but most realms aren't blizzlike)

People will enter warmane.com, read that exp rate is x7 but rep is x1 and pass away. Staff says they want to help newcomers and... they only widen the "breach" between old players and new players (I, myself, started grinding reps and alts for professions so I don't have to do it later). I don't know how making things harder for new players can benefit them.

It doesn't benefit them, and the staff knows very well that it won't. It was the worst excuse they could come up with, tbh.

If I wanted a 1x server, I would play Lord. When I joined molten in 2011, I joined Ragnaros when it was 20x or maybe even 25x rates. I chose the highest rates on purpose. Now, somehow, those rates have been whittled away to 1x for some stupid reason. I don't give a **** about the gold, only the rates they will change. I don't want to grind ICC rep farm 50x for a rep ring and since I only pvp, none of my characters will step into ICC for any other reason.

I would like to know, though, why are the honor rates staying the same? Just another way to cater to the ****ing people who only do PVE or very little PVP.

Newcomer on exp x7, rep x1, prof x1.
Bassicaly, newcomers will get forced to stay more in low level areas (where they are over leveled the zone) just for mining, skinning, herbalism in order to make some gold for skills/mount/items. In those zones will come level 80 guys with donated gear or gear made when rates were x7 and clean low level newcomers. If newcomers will give up, they will change the zone or will focus on leveling. After they will make level 80, they will not have enough gold to buy a mount/flyingmount etc. They will have to rush on quest. Rushing quests don't give you good items for fos/pos. So you need to farm more quest to buy gear, or farm reputation factions for starting items. Farming reputation will take a while with x1 and you will not fight with your GS's mirror, you will have to fight high GSes also. Yes, you can do rdf normal, but items from there will not get your through fos/pos/rdf hc, especialy when there are a lot of ninja.
Also, you can't say that high GSes people want to help low GS guys. You see lots of alts that ninja/need on items because they need.
Overall, warmane staff see another thing here: if you want to have items in order to start farming, you have to donate or you have to endure the hard time of farming and waiting.
I don't have any problem, but saying to attract newcomers is a lie. They will come, play a bit and leave or change to lordaeron realm. Maybe this is your idea, but I doubt it.

For example i`m a newcomer too. I have 1 week on warmane (had a lot of months on molten, and I have some friends playing here, so saying that I don't know what I speak becomes a lame reaction) and without any help/donation etc it was kinda hard to make 3,9k gs as a healer and 3,2k as a tank, considering that I know what to do, where to do, and my play time wasn't casual at all. But in this time a lot of high GS killed, lots of alts needed tank/healer items when they were dps (DK with int items gg), just because of GS. And any help from a high GS? No. Seeing a low GS made them to leave and event low GS want to wait until they find a high GS for easier run. Making reputation? Well, it's hard to make reputation as a tank/healer when you see lots of high GS making daily or just having fun killing low GS, but this is how the game goes right now and it was. Making gold from proffesions? It is a joke or something. I can't compete with speedhackers on mining or with other N guys that mining with 280/310 mount, when I have 150 mount. Again, I can change the proffesion and take something safier, like skinning, but it will be hard to farm as a tank so I will have to change one spec.

GLobaly, you have to follow one path to make your life easier here. I`m not whining (as people like to call reality now, because they have some help behinde), I just said something real, a reality that high GS people will not see it for newcomers. Ofc, who makes you want to rush the game right? Other could, you can't. They did it, you will not.

Overall is the same idea: people accept the idea because they got lied and they will have some characters with high GS. It's normal that warmane staff will force your hand, because at the end, most of the players (speaking of men now) have the exterior genitals inside the abdomen. The staff know that people want high GS, and those who have it, will not leave.
