Not really, because by the time you get opened on, it doesn't matter if you know their names.

dude no1 cares about this so called surprise factor.compare to non existing frames this is such a minor problem i dont even know why you bring it up.
and the surprise itself almost do not exist.x2 stealth is gonna be x2 rogues or rogue+druid.and you already know what will happen w/o knowing the names of the players.

Its just crazy how people find "downsides" just so there is a reson admins wont be 100% for fixing such a major bug in tbc just unbelivle.
As u said its not even worth mentionate it if u compare the downsides / good side

You probably mean "I dont care about..." because apparently there is some people that DO care. This is just addding custom functionality to make things more convenient to the majority of the playerbase. Maybe we should also implement dungeon/raid finder and everything else that blizz added to make things more convenient (easy) in later expansions.

And yes, I do believe you have to think about any possible negative impact, regardless of how minuscule it may be, before implementing anything. It's engineering 101.

And I am also saying I am okay with this change as long as there is a way to make it work without affecting anyone, which seems to be the case.

the surprise factor ist about to cyclone out of stealth in a random position... not about the comb you are facing at all.
if you can click the druid when he leaves stealth by hitting gladdy you have the adventage that you don't need to find him before
= drop stealth -> cast cyc -> instant cs

What the hell is this " surprize factor " now rly i play arena for 10 years on tbc and like 90% of games ppl start without stealth when gate open bcs simply they dnt care about the "surprize factor"

Now lets say some noobs start in stealth thinkink it will "surprize" theyre enemy.

Its rather rog /mage rog/ druid its not like it can " surpize u verry much" .

No damn warlock or priest gonna come behind u in stealth and "surprize" u while u will do whatever the hell u do that gets you " surpzied " .

Even if its other comb ,you do prerty much same think u do even if u know vs what comb u are againts its not like u have spells that work only for rogues or druids when they surpize u.

And the guy who compared Gladdy with Dungeon Finder its like u compare stealing a chicken with raping a kid.

And about cyclone there is addon that says "cyclone" (With a Voice ) made by Schacka when druid start casting cyc on u so if u are fast enought u can kite / or interupt it anyway.

I think the point is you don't know where the druid will unstealth.. that's the only "surprise".. even if you can anticipate it..
everything else is just bull**** ;)

gladdy does not show stealth units position so no problem here.i feel like the guy that was complaining about surprise element early wanna play x2 rogue and 1 shot someone from stealth..SURPRISE ITS X2 ROGUE THAT BURST YOU ASAP....

PLEASE do implement it, as well as sending those messages for proper trinkets CD tracking. Please Warmane.

Why can't you track trinkets? would that not be a spellcast event?

This seems like one of the least harmful QoL changes they can do that they already say they are ok with doing to begin with like duel spec, ect, literally almost no one would care about this as seen already from this forum post it will just make a much more enjoyable experience for the pvpers on the server, also like uzbekimistke said at the very least putting the correct scripts to track trinket correctly would be nice, it only works very little of the time right now.

You should contact Malaco directly. And pls inform us if its gonna be implemented.

i have seen malaco many times on paypays stum when he is was doing arena on PTR.think he is aware of this problems.

Nope, nothing in combatlog and you can't explicitly add it either (server side).
So I wrote an addon that guesses when someone trinkets, based on whether they broke CC by using any spell that allows it to break.
It works, sort of, but isn't all too reliable. It's part of the new Gladdy now though, but you can disable it (TrinketTracker) for servers that send the message.
