Horde Making It Impossible to Quest

You mean ret pally? You do realize that is one of the top if not the #1 class/spec combo with the lowest pvp skill ceiling right? Some people will say oh UH DK blah blah. Yes UH DK probably most OP in pvp but it certainly isnt the lowest skill ceiling. Just sayin.

Why did I take so much time posting you ask? This is actually my first post on warmane in years lol
Well for starters we are talking about a new player and obviously someone who is new to wow not just warmane.
The other reason is I gave actual advice to a newbie who took the time to ask for help due to understandable frustration.

People who are new don't know how to avoid being ganked/camped so I gave them a few options. I find it funny that a ganker comes flying outta the bush saying they are more skilled and that their behavior is legal. Yes we established that its technically legal.

The legality of said actions is not whats being discussed however. Also the majority of the responses, almost all are in agreement with OP ... hmmmm strange. Ask in global whether people think its ok to camp a level 25 with a 6.4k ret pally for hours and see what most ppl say to you and about you! <3

Enjoyed most of the arguments against ganking, and was interesting to read the posts in favor beyond the usual, very mature and constructive "stop crying", "it's allowed", "go watch Netflix".

I wonder, however, if well reasoned posts against ganking such as these, offering the perspective of those of us who are trying to level up, will appease or enrage the psychotic outbreak / gankfest.

Would also be interesting to conduct some sort of poll. My guess is, most of us are against ganking, whether we love (fair, meaningful) world PvP (my case) or not.

You literally got annoyed by some noob asking for help and feeling helpless. You also didn't seem to care for mine or others willingness to help/give advice. You have basically validated my point. ps: I freakin love my 310 mount also (I actually bought 2) I even added them to my resume. I sometimes get weird looks in interviews I just tell them to L2P and git gud stop complaining noob.

pps: I'll bet if someone ddos'd you so you couldnt enjoy your game for weeks on end there would be a virtual sea of troll tears. Its only because you are on the other end that its ok. Ganking is a huge issue for new players and I think there has been alot of great advice given and I am sure other people have stuff they would like to add. Why do you get to say a thread should be closed? I personally know people who were gung ho and willing to spend real life cash in this game that basically rage quit because they couldn't play. (no lie) Never knowing how awesome warmane can be. Lordaeron is so close to retail wotlk was its kinda eery tbh.

It's why I didn't suggest the OP leave. And OP, if you need more advice feel free to msg me on here. Don't listen to the toxic folks theres tons of good ppl that play here. This is the best game ever made imo. I also think wotlk was the best expansion. I left to play classic wow and came back after 2 months. Don't let ppl ruin it for you, its really not just some game but more of an experience no kidding.

Its not fair and it never meant to be :) Even if somebody would steal ACC (what happened in past) Id be angry, of course, for half day and later... Move on. Seems like Im just not treating this game too serious :)

I have arena team, playing bg a lot. For now. Maybe in month or two or six Ill just become bored of wow and stóp playing. Maybe for few months, Years, or forever, I don't know :)

I just wanted to post one last thing to the OP or anyone else who's new or extremely frustrated. I started playing in the second xpac of wow the burning crusade.
I played on one of the big and original pvp servers I was an ultimate noob I didn't even know I had talennt points to spend till level 26 or something lol the stories of my noobness can go on forever.

I was lucky enough to have people to help me out because wow is not a game its more of a PHD lol. Theres so much to learn when you are just starting. Wow was honestly one of my fav memories of that time of my life and I still hold it dear, might sound cheesy but w/e its true and most agree. I have made IRL friends that I STILL talk to today. I know ppl who have met in game and are now married.... not one couple but three.

I have always returned the favor and tried to kinda give back because I would have probably quit tbh. People spent alot of their time teaching me stuff and it wasn't so easy to look things up back then... hahah THOTTBOT anyone :D I am not talking crap but if I had gotten ganked on spirestone like i have on icercrown i woulda quit in a week hahah There was pvp in hellfire sure but not a ton of ganking.

Back then the 70's were busy and by the time you did everything there was a new xpac and new level cap so people were always busy for the most part. I really like the idea of the new frostmourne server and would recommend that or lordaeron for someone new. The thing is after playing for so long u basically become immune to it. Getting ganked doesn't phase me one bit even though the gankers like to think it does they are honestly wasting their time on me. lol

Its usually newish players that get super pissed. You get used to it and at 80 you will be doing everything BUT getting ganked. So chill, let the trolls waste their time. You can't camp a vet they just log their banker or other alt. Like buddy said it is a game yuppers. Even though you talk to any real wow vet and its almost always more than a game to them

Mate I wrote like 2 times that Im not annoyed, its kinda entertining :) Look for definition of complain - its expressing dissatisfaction or frustration. Im not one or the other, I've clearly said several times that Im amused about other showing their frustration :)

To be honest triggering some of guys here bring even more joy than actual ganking - best thing is I dont even have to do it, cause they are heating theirselfs very good on their own. As I remember, if You want to play on warmane (or any other game) You gotta accept the rules. And the rules are very clear in this situation. So if You don't like to play a game according to rules, maybe its better not to play at all? In worst scenario, play on blackrock (insta 80) or think about pve server.

Every week we have several topics in same subject - lvling is completely impossible. And every week we have more and more 80s lvl on server. Realms are literally full with 1k+ que. That kinda shows it is possible. Its not even that hard. There is a chance that topics like these rejects more potential future players from playing on warmane than actual in-game ganks/pvp.

If You want advice - there are simply and well known for years. Another miserable topic won't help here. You can search forum for 2 mins and get advices like:
- avoid most populated areas
- as soon as possible buy ridding/flying
- if You are able to stealth etc use it
- as far as possible avoid peak hours
- focus on lvling and not pvping with others even on same lvl (cause they probably have an 80 alt on few years old realm)
- think about Your goal, cause in the end, end-game is bread&butter of this game and it will actually take 99% of time that You've spend inside WoW

All above are more than You need to easly lvl to 80. btw, Why You think Im not helping others? Tbh i've spend plenty of gold and my time helping others. And probably quite good amount killing 75-80 lvls in scholazar. Its all part of the game and dont excludes itself :)

Theres no rules that say that as a healer I can't let someone die over and over on purpose while in a LFG either. Does that mean its a cool thing to do? You tell me. There are many countries that have no laws to protect animals against cruelty or torture does that make it ok? Its expected you act civilized.

Killing someone once or even twice.. fine. Harassing someone for an hour or more just isn't cool and if that floats your boat I guess its a free country right (I think) In retail if you did it for too long you could get in trouble yes. Hmmm I know one delay of game is q ing rdf then refusing to leave group and demand to be kicked because you didn't like the RANDOM dungeon you q'd for. (I was told that bya friend who has played here since day one I assume its true)

Can you tell me what the Disruption of gameplay bans are? I could be wrong but someone told me one example was some ppl 24/7 killing and camping some of the npcs you needed in order to do the hilt quest. AHAHA SO FUNNY

EDIT: OK from staff post in forum cut and paste " If we were to give an example, best would be someone managing to kill all the quest NPCs for low level zones to an extent where players can't level for days. " So yes there are rules in place only because some people just don't know where to draw the line.

OH and btw of course you are going to see the same stuff pop up over and over again as new people join they haven't been reading the forums daily like you claim. Maybe you need a forum break if it bothers you. You also shouldn't complain about people complaining. I didn't say not healing or doing the dungeon I said not healing ONE person and letting them die over and over cause in some childish way it amuses someone. That I believe is technically legal right. Doesn't mean you should do it.

Long story short, just because you can get away with something doesn't always make it ok. There are TONS of childish things I can do while playing to grief/annoy others that won't catch a ban. If someones goal in a game is to annoy/grief/try to get them to quit server then I guess its part of the game right pvp server n stuffs L2P right?

Pvping against other 80s is just hard I guess. So much easier to just one shot folks.

I dont have time to do it every day, even not every week. But I still doing it sometimes, when I feel like Id like to annoy ppl a little bit one day :D

When Im lvling and someone just decides that he want to play that game for hours - well its up to him. I probably leveled more than 5 full accounts since molten, never had as big problems as You are trying to show here. That discussion is pointless tho, Im not defending this kind of behaviour, yet for sure not bashing it. For now its legal on warmane, if there are ppl that likes to do it, even for hours - its up to them. Let ppl enjoy game as their will.

You cant just bash someone cause he have more time to play and You dont - its pointless. Thats how games works (and not only video games, real life as well).

I agree fighting aganist <80 lvl is not even pvp, its purely a desintegration ^^ One time You are playing 2s, once 3s, other day BGs, from time to time You just fly through scholazar and kill lowbies, farming ores meanwhile :)

Well yeah once in a while for maybe 15 mins or w/e but that isnt what we are talking about. This is about excessive camping of either the players or the npcs you need or both. Like you find 3 horde leveling in helfire and you proceed to make sure they can't do one quest for 1-3 hours??? Thats just a word I can't even type here.

I am the same I love to level and have lvled a ton of guys lol BUT i'm also super wow savvy having had/have a pretty good wow addiction lol

I know what to do where to go, what server to roll , what zones to avoid, how to ghetto hearth, etc etc some noob in tarren mill having played for what like an hour of wow in his life is a complete derp. They likely don't even know about the spirit healer.

When i first started I couldn't find my corpse ffs got so frustrated I didn't even see the freakin arrow. (not my greatest moment but I was also half cut lol)

When I am alt leveling and someone is just terrorizing tarren mill or has finally interfered enough with me I'll grab the 80. Its not uncommon for me to just SMASH southshore after killing the scrub ganker. I will kill FP and every npc. ONE TIME not over n over n over. Thats a pvp server. I enjoy it. What isn't cool is basically not allowing someone to play for an hour or more. Thats not pvp thats griefing. Super simple and I mean why they do it to start with IDK.

Raiding the other factions capital city EPIC FUN great memories.. Did we do it for 12 hours straight ... obviously not we aren't pieces of %#%#%#% :D
Its also very common for horde to leave the lowbies alone during those raids I have even seen that one guy doing it get massive **** from half the raid for killing lvl 16s or w/e Whenever alliance does it they will kill everything everytime almost zero exception.

During the xmas world boss event one guy was almost kicked out of the raid for griefing a grp of lowbies questing. He was warned once and killed another and he was given that last chance one more time and you are not only out but blacklisted. There was a group of basically 4 of us that alternated as raid lead pretty much we ran all those groups and he woulda been screwed. It was a 40 man raid and that was the group consensus... don't be a jerk let them do their thing or GTFO. Not one person took his side.

ps: if you are playing lordaeron and had southsore blown up its possible it was me lol I'm not starting **** im finishing it (or trying to lol ofc sometimes the main gets spanked and its gg)
