I don’t understand why people are being so foolish and not even considering lowering the drop rates and increasing the cooldowns for materials or minerals, or adjusting the spawn rates. That way, the problem would regulate itself naturally, since trade between players would increase, as well as interaction overall. Prices would balance themselves, and gold would gradually disappear because demand would exceed supply.
So overall, they should simply rework and adjust the systems instead of cutting everyone’s gold in half. I also find that very questionable, considering people paid for it — and in some countries, digital goods purchased with real money can even be subject to legal action. I really don’t understand why Warmane would put itself in such a bad position instead of addressing the problem at its root.
Anyone who crafts items ends up burning gold anyway, especially when the crafted items are soulbound and can’t even be traded. Honestly, I think this is a very poor decision — and, among other things, quite irresponsible, primitive, and overly simplistic.
