And he's mathematically ******ed.

Him: "Oh, I asked them to bump you up 2% for the 90 on your notebook check."
Me: "Did you add it in to my points and divide by the total to see how much it actually brings me up?"
Him: "No, but it only counts for a small percentage."
Me: "On the grade book it shows up specifically as the same weight as every other grade."
Him: "Uh..."
Me: "Not even counting the midterm grade, a 90% on the notebook check means I get 1550/1700 which is a 91.2%. Not even counting the 80 from the midterm."
Him: "Uh..."


He's an *****. I'm being denied my A for no reason.

So Orphic he denied your A without a vaild reason (maybe he hates you but that is other thing). Talk with him and if he refuse to give you an A then make complain to his authorities. What is a person without guts.
