About three years ago, I played on WoW Legacy private server and had a DK 80. Then I made an alt and leveled it to 80 but didn't like it, so I tried to delete my alt and accidentely deleted my main...
I went "anti-wow" for about a year, until I discovered Molten. :)
My WTF moment would probobly be when i just started to play wow 2years ago...My first char was warrior and then when i log in with it and was like:WTF,wheres my mana,how will i use my skills...until a friend told me that theres rage on wow instead of mana for warriors..
Off-topic WIN-was in sw near AH with my hunter,and spy addon showed,that theres a horde druid near,so i targeted him and i was able to attack,after 1 auto attack,body of dead tauren female droped from the tree in trade center lol.
Played a human warlock on a private server, got to the level 20 or so, and in Goldshire attacked a cat inside the house and fought for like 10 min's kiting her out of the house around. Dunno why it took so long but damn, my friend rofl'ed at me. Since then, I avoid cats.
And spit 3 times if I see a black one.
done about 5 hours of questing and grinding then realized you don't get xp in raid groups
When I first started, I was a druid.
I didn't find out what a talent point was before level 30, when a party member asked me what spec I was.
Her: "What spec are you?"
Me: "... spec?"
Her: "Talents, where did you put your talents?"
Me: "... talents?"
So I found out what talent points were, then I put them everywhere lol hybrid druid feral resto balance ftw.
Also I needed on gear according to what pieces had the most armor :D
My uncle just started playing, since we were supposed to start from lv 1 at the same time i told him "log in but dont do anything yet, dont do quest, or kill mobs just wait for me there, ill log in in 10 minutes". Then something happened and we couldnt play that day. Like a week later i found him lv 15 and asked him "how you doing?" he said he found the game boring. I asked him wich quest he was on? and he was like "Quest? Wich Quest? Yoy told me to dont take any Quest". Then i realized he just grinded till lv 15 killing mobs witouth taking any single quest and using only his 2 starting skills x.x.
Hardcore grinding FTW. (no wonder why he found the game boring...)
Ah as a fresh undead warlock visiting Undercity for the first time, I asked the Boss outside why his name was green, then figured he was afk. I still don't understand why certain peoples names are different colors besides Party.
2 days after i started playing wow i saw 5 -6 hordes attacking SW and the killed me. Later when i went to westfall i saw those mechanical creatures and i thought that they were the hordes and i started running around like mad till i died
When i first started playing Wow, and i ninja'd items ( i didnt know what that ment) and they started yelling at me calling me a ninja, i thought that was a good thing lol
when i started this game i went in westfall, and i got a curse that reduce my stamina, and i was yelling on chat where i can get a antidote.. xD
Lol I've actually got so many
1- when I first started playing wow (TBC) I didn't notice there were classes , I thought there were only Races
2- when I started a Belf paladin ( I didn't know it was a paladin) I remember meeting a hunter with a Pet helping him in Arathi Basin , so I went to Undercity and bought a ****roach companion , and went to kill mobs , when it didn't attack I thought it needs to grow up by quesing and leveling up with me

My most pathetic secret IS that I play WoW. Hahah.
