This question has been asked before (in this thread as well). Is there a time limit on the instant levelups and free professions? I really don't want to rush into it.

I'd like to know the same. I really enjoy questing and leveling my professions myself. So, I'm in no need for maxing out anything instantly. But still, having this "instant lvl up" opportunity handy for hard times is a good thing too. So I'd like to keep them, if there is no time limit.

Free Profession not working?

I tried to get my free profession 2 days ago in mining but I kept getting an error because it had no recipe's. The box was unchecked. Then I try to switch it to Blacksmithing and it said i had 0/0 free professions. Please help =(

New accounts get no free gold, no free coins and no free points. You only get the instant 90 characters. The promotion you see on the front page is for old (recovered) accounts. This is a measure to prevent abuse.

so people who could successfully get professions won the lottery while others lost out because some abused the feature? thanks :P you wiped all my accounts pre-cata, wiped my new account from January, and then wiped it again for good measure, followed by a buggy/broken profs system which a select group benefited from while everyone else gets a big F U.

my guild did more for the server through advertising than probably 99% of the new players here will do in their entire lifetime for any or even all games they play. but good job getting the servers back up and able to handle 4k plus on each server, genuine respect from me there.

haha I thought I was being funny in regards to the locked feature that was abused :P
and I know molten didn't even wipe our accs except the ones I didn't use for years, which is understandable.

I already leveled mining to max manually and that was BEFORE I even knew you couldn't get it through the acc page.
I am enjoying doing these things again and also happy to be back on molten.

Free Professions

Hello, I just logged on my alt and I found out that the profession I bought with the "free option" hasn't been given but it counted it as a made profession can you please help me out ?

Seems It wont let me learn Leatherworking on my dudu on Ragnaros and I hadnt used any free profession tokens yet. i have 3 left.

It does say "free professions" but it also say "Learning a profession costs 20 Coins" so... Will it deduct any coin from my account anyway?

No, when you use all 3 free profession then it will start to charge coins.
