That are the real pro's...those who can, at L90, one shot L50. U kno HOW MUCH SKILL THAT REQUIRES!?
Thats quite interesting.
According to ur source Wow progress doesnt even have the data of the whole WoW population. They only collects the data of pve players.
The pvp playerbase doesnt even appear which makes ur source even more useless.
I also checked the German realm list of my retail account again and compared it to ur corrupt wow progress realm list:

Even on the first page like 80% of the realms are missing on http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/eu and no, these are not merged realms like u claimed.
Thats absolutle nonsense....
Okay 1. I am not comparing pop of one realm to another, so that doesn't affect my source. Im just proving you was wrong with the ratio of PvE to PvP realms which is what my source backs up.
2. I just matched up every single realm on your SS to the realms on WoWprogress, take a second look.
They are now the same realms...they don't have cross realm areas, they are the same realm. The only reason the two servers, that merged, both appear on a realmlist is due to the fact that they still have seperate log in 'bridges'. Which is also the reason you can see two of the same character names on one server, they use separate bridges to connect in, so they aren't colliding with each other
Ur source doesnt back it up because it shows only one of realms when the realms are connected to each other.
For example Alexstrasza and Nethersturm are connected to each other and thats probably the reason why u can only find Alexstrasza on http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/eu .
When u check the list of all connected realms http://wow.gamepedia.com/Connected_Realms then u will notice that usually only two or three pve realms are connected to each other while 4 - 5 pvp realms are connected to each other.
Thats the reason why it looks on http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/eu as if we have more PvE realms but in fact we have more pvp realms.
The real issue is quality of game play. The majority of players prefer PvE (and we can argue how high the majority is, but thats just splitting hairs). The point is the quality of game play for PvEers on a PvP server is much lower than quality of game play for PvPers on a PvE server. How would your game play change if we added a PvE flag? Well, for over half the players game play would improve greatly as they wouldn't be harrassed by uneven-unfun battles. The game play for PvPers would improve also, because there would be greater participation in battlegrounds and the overall average intelligence of PvPers would go way up because the putzes would be forced to learn how to actually fight.
There are slightly MORE battlegrounds and arenas on PvE servers than there are on PvP servers because players are not pissing around doing meaningless noobie hunting. Fair fights is where it is fun. Really, to both sides. There is only a tiny group of unskilled low-intelligence chumps that really NEED to insta kill level 3's in the noobie area, most everyone else will adapt and learn how to fight once they have to go into battlegrounds. Yes, even you Pallz.
You want googled stats though to make you feel better, the leader in these types of stats:
US: https://realmpop.com/us.html shows about 59% PvE versus 41% PvP and when you average the EU pop with it you get 52% PvE prefered players for retail.
Summary: Since there is no choice for PvE currently:
PvE players: Harrassed, inconvenienced, no need for new players as they will just rage quit trying to level.
PvP players: Less battlegrounds, lower average pvp skill. Server attracts more jerks.
If we added a PvE flag and somehow advertised it properly:
PvE players: Attract thousands of new players. Less jerks here so community is more healthy.
PvP players: Basically the same experience as before but more battlegrounds now and tiny amount of no-skill hacks leave, the rest are better players because they learn how to fight with skill.
THIS. In a nut shell this is what most people want, when I want to quest, I want to enjoy questing, not looking behind my back to see which pro player is waiting to rape my *** because hey there is honor in that right. (Pun fking intended)
"red your dead, go to sleep whored, WARcraft" fanboys, for you I have nothing, we just accept the fact that you are the circle jerking members of this server.
If your so hard core go do BG's and Arenas, there is a reason we have those!
Even in a PvE server you can enjoy your city raids, if people want to contest it they will raise their flag, for people not interested they will move on to another city.
I requested a couple of friends to play again and they said the same thing, after molt down and the fact that they have to use ground mounts in Panda land, they dont want to waste their time being pvped by random *******s since a lot of the content on the server is not open and what better thing to do than gain free honor.
So its fine to ruin the PvE experience right?Quote:

The experience here is way off for both PvP and PvE players in world PvP.
If you want to join a PvP server on retail, everyone you kill has elected to join that PvP experience. We do not get that choice here, that's the big difference. I've seen people rage quit from my guild because of this stupid fact. Players who prefer PvE server basically try to put up with it as long as they can. Its time we maximize the fun for everyone and PvE server flag is the only way that can happen. The experience would improve dramatically for the PvE server type player, and doubtful it would diminish any for the PvP server type player.
Some PvP players have fear that things like raids on towns will not be as fun, well those players have obviously never played a PvE server on retail. I've played both, and I'm a heavy PvP player, but PvE oriented server....why? Because the best world PvP and BG/Arena are on the PvE servers.
