maybe you ought to take some blinders off. let me refresh your history a bit since it seems to be a little messed up.

when kaer left there was a hell of a lot more bugs than when he came back. so dont give me the cry me a river hermes story. there for a while hermes actually did do a lot of good and actually had more updates than i had seen in a long time when kaer was in control of things and thats not to bash kaer or anything this is more about reminding you people who have conveniently forgotten that hermes did do a lot of good before the whole moltdown mess.

dont come here with the shades pulled over your eyes and expect people to forget. i know you all want to remember hermes as the guy who ruined molten and stole money and all that crap (although even that is not the true story but i wont get into that here and now). thats great. guy deserves to be in jail regardless. i hate him like the rest of you. im not disputing that fact but dont deny the fact that for a time things were ran pretty smoothly with a bunch of much needed updates and additions to the game under his rule. how can you be so blind to that?

did you ever play here before kaer left? im guessing not from viewing your profile and seeing as how its 6 months old (people who post on alt accounts i dont get either..afraid to post with mains or what?) there were a ton of bugs that existed more so than when hermes came in with fixes to a lot of things.

next part is important:

his first wotlk video was actually nice and gave a fair review although i could still argue some points. as soon as he got a burr up his behind with being banned by Mercy for something he totally deserved the guy went into butt hurt mode and began bashing molten players, community, staff, servers at every turn. It was not just his youtube account either. Within minuets of his ban he had 10 different posts up about bashing molten on his FB (which still exist as far as i know). it wasent until after the moltdown when he and the staff contacted one another that things finally calmed down. i cant speak for them on whats happened recently but i know that some if not all of them wished that had been handled differently now in retrospect considering kaer did not know what this guy had done previously and what he had said about the community and staff. i am sure had he known he would not have been contracted to do a video for them.

i just want to recover one of the topics i spoke about earlier. Dodgey is a liar and a really butt hurt player. the proof is in his videos. He demands respect from people he does not respect himself.He has made outlandish claims and comments about things that just simply are not true and have no truth to them at all. He makes wild claims and expects people to put him up on a pedestal because at one time when you searched molten wow on google his video popped up first. there is a difference when someone is using that as a means of happiness and accomplishment. He used it as a threat and as a power grab. Like ive said before i know the guy, prolly better than anyone else here besides Mercy. i have a long history with him ask the leader of junglecove.net about it. i think that alone gives me a much better insight as to who he really is as a person and from what ive seen im not impressed. again hes the one of the very few maybe 3 people outside of this game id love to have checked out at a mental hospital.

I can agree he should be put in prison, but come on. Things were NOT running "pretty smooth" when he was ever at the helm and this right here is where you lose your whole argument.

I just don't think you know the difference between good development and bad development. Plan and simple, every little thing Herms was trying to do to better things he was only doing it selfishly to make money so he could horde it and walk away later. Molten should have never released a cata realm just because it wasn't ready for a cata realm, and I really hate saying this dude, but I feel the same about Warmane, they shouldn't have opened up Cata and MoP servers, just because they aren't debugged enough for players to really enjoy them and now all those players do is come here and complain that there isn't any development on their favorite server.

Sadly, there are other private servers out there that do Cataclysm better, a lot better. Molten releasing Cata/MoP was just a money grab.

I've played here on Molten/Warmane for several years going all the way back to.... It was mid late Cataclysm Retail. I quit retail because i hated the expansion, so I think around 2011'ish...I've just lost several account over the years. So far this is the only one i've managed to keep.

I rather found his WoTLK review on par with what i experienced, the worst part about the old Molten WOTLK server(s) was the Northrend Questing and all the P2W items that they were selling ruining the game. Was this really the video that got him banned? I think it was his first cata video for Molten..... Now that I think of it, yeah it was, but also that video was amazingly accurate as i played there right after it went live and gave up before i hit lvl20 as it was far to bugged for my liking and I guess Saphire/Mercy and who ever didn't like his review, but honestly, can you sit there and tell me that that server should have gone live when it should have stayed in beta til more bugs were worked out and some WoTLK bugs were worked out to?

Releasing broken expansions is what got things rolling. If whoever was running the ship at the time actually cared about the community, they would have kept that server on the back burner til it was ready.

Completely disagree, although he might have gotten butthurt for getting banned and his video removed, i would have to and in fact i have had an account ban from Molten because I spoke up on the forums about their bugged cata expansion, it was when Molten first announced they were doing a MoP server. I asked them in the most sincere manor possible to take their time and not release MoP as buggy as cata was released and yes, I got a forum ban for that, and you think Dodgy has issues?

The way Molten use to be was bad, real bad. Not just with releasing buggy broken expansions, but also the way they'd treat their general public. If you had anything other then good things to say about Molten, you were at risk of getting a forum bad, just go watch Dodgy's Molten MoP trailer and tell me if the staff didn't have issues back then.

Now here's my final thoughts on "Current" Warmane; things have changed. Clearly the staff has moved on and are on a new relief and I honestly feel deep down that they are doing an amazing job and i can't wait for 2016!!! I'm having a blast on Lordaeron and can only hope they do the same to Cata and MoP.

As far as Mercy goes, I think she's changed a lot. I don't know all that's changed in the office or her personal life, but she's a lot better these days then she was .... Ya know what? Nevermind. I'll leave the past and the past and just say that these days she's a breath of fresh air and I the she's on the right track getting Warmane where it needs to be to be a top contender with other Private Servers.

First off we are way off topic at this point with half the argument but i will say its nice to argue with someone who at least has half a brain when it comes to responding.

ok so you did not play under kaers first reign. You thought things were broke under hermes rule? lol they were a lot worse under kaers first term. again thats not to bash him nor do i blame him. why? back then the server was a lot younger with a lot more bugs that needed worked out.

was not attacking your account. was trying to figure out if you actually played here during kaers first term. if not then how can you make these claims? your denial of the difference between the two clearly leads me to believe you dont know what you are talking about when it comes to the two leaders (ill get to this later). lets not get off topic here either im talking hermes early rule. not ending nor the months leading up to it at which point i think we both agree was a complete disaster.

so what exactly was brainwashed and delusional about that? i said it was not that bad of a review (but that i still found fault with some things which to me would be "on par") and then you turn around and agree with what i said?

first off there is no pay to win. i dont care what ***** tries to use that argument. you can pay all you want for gear. does not make you good. in fact i think its funny as hell watching a fully donated smourne warrior get wrecked by some guy in half the gear who actually knows how to play his/her class. but im a PvE'r so i can also say this. good gear does not tell you when to move or what skills to use. it does not tell you to watch threat or heal the right person. it sure as hell dont tell you how to spec either.

he did get but hurt. its not a matter of he might have. he did. you can clearly see it in the video and my video response to him explains everything. you can see it on his twitter and FB as well. not much else i can add to that.

OT: I think you're being delusional and brainwashed in the since that you seem to put all this blame on Dodgy and for what? Making a video that he was trying to be as honest and clear as he could be? Yes his Cataclysm Video got deleted and removed, but I and many others feel that as brutal as it was, it was very constructive and should've had a chance to stay up, just like the Ad he made for Lordaeron.

People just need to understand that criticism is a really good thing, it's where we learn our mistakes and help point out to others that we to want these issues fixed and that's coming from both sides of the line.

Seriously? How the F is selling Shadowmourne on the Cash Shop not P2W? How is selling all raid and pvp gear on the shop not P2W? No, it doesn't make automatically a 2200 Gladiator, but it gives you plenty of edge to start dominating people that just wanna play the game as it was intended and should be played and yes this is a perfectly great argument as 99% of the community would ask you for a 5k GS and there are plenty of players that didn't wanna donate for gear as it felt like cheating to gain an advantage, but were kicked to the curb because they had less gear but still could out perform many of those overly geared baddies.

Sorry, but selling gear like that on a CS becomes a slippery slope and should never be in a game like WoW (FYI) it's also one nasty reason why Retail WoW is losing so many subs. Buy Token from Website, sell on AH, take gold to buy mythic gear and start getting invited to all the raids.

Oh I'm not really disagreeing here, in fact i'm spinning it the way it should be spun. He was butthurt and he had every right to be, I would have been to. He took his time making an honest review that should have helped point out things to the community and the staff what all is wrong and needs to be fixed and gotten people talking about the issues, got shut down. Why? Because Molten Staff got butthurt!

If you wanna say Dodgy got butthurt, that's fine. I won't disagree with you here, but the least you could do is call out the whole truth and admit it was Molten that got butthurt first and couldn't handle the pressure when all Dodgy wanted was some working content and yes, Cata was that screwed up.

Like I said before, in many ways I don't blame him. His reviews are for the people, not for the "companies" that host PServers. Him being shut down and handled the way he was wasn't professional and was done in really bad taste. I for one feel people have the right to know what they are getting into when they play on Pservers and when a Pserver gets a bad review they should own it and support it. Only through admitting one's mistakes can they move forward and better themselves.

But this wasn't the case and you can't just blame Dodgy for his attitude and shannigans. When fights like that happen people will always pick sides, but at the end of the day one has to realize that both parties could have done things better and as a matter of fact:

It was this video that gave me a whole new respect for Warmane/Kaer and was what peaked my interest and helped me get over the past and made me wanna give Warmane a new chance and like i said before, i'm enjoying it here and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Ya see, i'm a company man and yeah, you can't paint and old fence and call it new, but we're not talking about Home Depot here, we're talking business from an internal PoV and I never said I was blaming the rest of staff that's been here since the early days. Actually, I blame Hermes for the downfall of Molten as he was the captain of the ship and he just plum gave up, just like that and he didn't just give up, he made off with bank. So no, I can't blame the crew for something that was completely Hermes fault. He was lying and betraying the people that were working for him and that's just sad. I kind of pity the staff for what they went through.

Okay, after Molt-down, nobody was rotting, stop being over dramatic. 2nd. Yes! They at best could have opened a Cata Beta server and left it there just to collect data so when WM is done with WOTLK (or mostly done) they could move everyone over to Cata and do to Cata what they've done to WoTLK that which is an amazing job if I might add.

The staff agrees with you on this point. We wish we could have just 2 expansions being developed, but we can't take one of them down without making a lot of people angry. So we have to work with what we have.

Indeed. Funky's video covers pretty well why he was banned. It was for a post he made, not any video. The video was removed from the forum because that is what we were instructed to do by the administration at the time.

While we do agree with you, we have to ensure that the servers are paid for. We're trying to move away from our old model, but there's not a whole lot we can do. Check Lordaeron's setup for info on that front.

i put the blame on dodgey for acting like a child and clearly going overboard over something really dumb. yet he acted suprised then proceeded to bash anything to do with molten.

this is not about the cata video. get that through your head please. seriously this whole thing (his butt hurt stuff) started after his rage video of his ban appeared on his channel. not the initial cata video. please understand that. i hate repeating that.

Seriously? How the F is selling Shadowmourne on the Cash Shop not P2W? How is selling all raid and pvp gear on the shop not P2W? No, it doesn't make automatically a 2200 Gladiator, but it gives you plenty of edge to start dominating people that just wanna play the game as it was intended and should be played and yes this is a perfectly great argument as 99% of the community would ask you for a 5k GS and there are plenty of players that didn't wanna donate for gear as it felt like cheating to gain an advantage, but were kicked to the curb because they had less gear but still could out perform many of those overly geared baddies.

99% of the server is ******ed and asks for gearscore. tell me what exactly are these donators winning? do they get a title because they can donate? do they win any tournaments because they can donate? you think that new players coming here wouldent be facing veterans in BiS gear anyways who have spent years here even without donations? if you think winning means having best in slot then i guess thats a weird way to look at winning.

I was speaking in retrospect I feel it's done some harm, but currently it is, what it is. Just my 2 cents, putting more on your plate is a bad idea when you're not down with what you currently have ( not meaning you as in you, but you in general for anyone).

I love how Lordaeron isn't P2W and I hope you, and the rest the staff get to hang around here for many years to come and the servers get to stay up for as long as they can. To me, it just feels like selling such items on the CS makes the game to close to P2W and this chases many people away and I'm so happy with the Lordaeron Set-up that I plan to donate to WM and that's something I wouldn't have ever considered doing back during Molten days.

Warmane/Lordaeron has captured my heart and I'm having a blast! Great job everyone!

Do I really have to explain this to you? The gear! It's the gear that they are winning by paying for it, it ruins the game for everyone by having it on sell in the CS. It ruins the whole damn experience that which is why Blizzard has tried to always stay away from that kind of stuff up until WoD.

On Topic: To an extent sure. There's deleting dupilicate threads, so no. Not everyone can post the same stuff over and over again and WM has to sit there and take it, but it's good to let people voice their opinions and if it does point out how bad things are (were in the past). As long as it can be constructive and respecting of the staff, i see no issues with people voicing their opinions.

It's people that come on to forums with petitions or raging that deserve to have their threads locked.

yep that is my comeback. why? because if that was the case why has the population risen even before lord (after moltdown obv) dont exaggerate things that in your mind are blown way out of proportion. thats retails one of "many" issues. its not even the biggest issue. its worked fin here for years. look at all the games out there that are "p2w" tons. a lot of the top games today are. so obviously something is working. the day that it becomes a game killer ill let you know.

yea i remember. i wish he still has his Mercy and Funky bash video up. Looked for it the other day couldent find it. like i said hes one of those very rare people that really do make you want to hurt them/take them to a mental hospital outside the game for the insane actions they do in the game or forums. no one is entitled to anything unless they earn it. idk if it was ego or if he thought molten owed him something but dude has issues.

ya I can see why you didn't give him gear because he thinks he is entitled to everything but can you tell us the reason why you didn't give him a free level up and gear? As far as I see it would have been better than the bashing video he made because you didn't .
