The dirt covered female had no sense of magic, even for an quel'dorei but who could habe known? Living below the standard of normal high elven society, that arcanists gore-less exterior and nearly pristine look seemed to shock her as he approach. Her mind raced to figure out if this was some illusion. A glimmer of hope lifted her furrowed brows as she assumed that surely someone without a smudge of grime during the endeavors of the last few days must have with them an army and supplies to keep them safe- she paused waiting for a squad, guards, even an escort. Wrongly she continued to assume that this was some high nobles son or perhaps...
He advanced with his 'to the point' words. Sharp like the tip of that blade... No followers. That's what he said. The words hit hard but even more strange was that he'd verbalized that he wouldn't 'allow it'. His confidence and stainless attire earned him a questionable look. How had he made it this far and remained unharmed?
In her distraction she didn't even notice the two rangers vanish from sight (Trist and Sylv) or the bed-ridden (Lys) youth speak.
Status... it took her a moment to hear him as she came out of her questioning thoughts. 'Status... ' she repeated softly before realizing it. "Not good. Just lost another squad of farstriders -" with that her eyes began to scan for the two who just exited the tent. "...and a healer." She sighed. "The city is off limits, the abominations left behind are wandering the roads..." looking as if she were snapping out of her thoughts. "For ever loss we suffer another seems to be added to their side. I assume they left some with the abilities to raise these 'things' in the area." It suddenly dawned on her that she was speaking to a youth, not a commanding officer, not a fellow warrior- Why was she not sugar coating her words? Must have been his demenor in the given situation. Perhaps it was that this was the 1st able body she had seen outside of her squad. These were desperate times...
"We're short on supplies and men to find survivior." Getting right to the point; She gave him an obvious once over trying to figure out if he could be of any help. His unstained attire begged the question; "do you have any abilities that could assist the people here or..." she hesitated, not wanting to assume but giving him the benifit of the doubt. "Would you be willing to get your hands dirty and help look for more survivors?"
