Multiboxing as a real problem

And there's no reason to consider the sample non representative of the population. If anything, we can assume multiboxers to disproportionally dwell in the forum compared to other players and/or the possibility that the they may have used their many accounts to take many votes in their favour. In other words the poll probably underestimates the number of "no", which are still anyway the far majority.

gl with letting 0.03% of the population make decisions. the poll was to small a sample to actually represent the player base.

my point was pretty simple, warmane don't need nor want your opinion on the matter, if they want to change things they will make that choice. and what blizzard does doesn't matter in the slightest.

By the way, 1000 (950 actually) is a good sample size. The minimum size is often said to be 100, and we're much above that.

You (MB whiners) are forgetting that Warmane isn't retail. Retail has its own problems with "multiboxing". The article some of you like to spam (or advertise), states:

"we've seen an increasingly negative impact to the game as this software is used to support botting and automated gameplay."

Do note, those are retail's problems they are talking about, not Warmane's.

Warmane has 0 obligation to follow Blizzards policies. You can cry, moan, make these topics, demand votes all you want. If Warmane doesn't want to change their policies, they don't have to. They don't have to put up a vote, or even act on results of one, if they do.

Yup, I've multiboxed 5 toons myself. It's something that takes 30 mins to setup and that doesn't require any skill to perform, BUT it requires some recent hardware to multibox many toons. I very soon realized it's not a deserving way to play the game, especially concerning PvP.
Now, what about you? You are always ready to defend this minority of multiboxers, what's the truth about you?

You have (very conveniently) left out this part "As World of Warcraft has evolved, our policies have also evolved to support the health of the game and the needs of the players.". Guess what, that's something that Retail has in common with Warmane, despite the efforts of people like you, who constitute an insignificant minority, probably with many accounts to comment with.

Of course, but Warmane has no obligation to NOT change the multiboxing policy either.

Bringing a motorized go-kart to a soap box derby may or may not be allowed, but even if it was, it takes from the spirit of the race, makes you unpopular, and highlights an obvious lack of skill to compete evenly. It also creates excess pollution, and caters to people who have an undeserved, elevated sense of self.

It doesn't take much effort to kill anything below level 80 as a level 80, will you cry to ban ganking as well? It's something "unfair" as well. Or will it be "it's PvP" just like MB killing you is just "PvP".

Well, I did it, and I'm sure everybody can, just with hotkeynet + some follow/assist macros. It's not like it requires any mysterious knowledge, and there are hotkeynet premade setups available for free; as said, the only limit is the hardware and the deliberate will not to play that lame way.

We're having a civil discussion about an in-game aspect, it's not like anybody is insulting or similar. You can simply not open threads like this one if they bother you so much (for some mysterious reason).
Actually I think that these threads keep appearing because they get deleted, and evidently many players really look for a change about multiboxing.

So in 30 mins you created 5 WoW accounts, learned how to use hotkeynet and searched for a premade profile, then went in to the game and set all the interface settings, addons, keybinds and macros up and all if that on 5 accounts.
