When started playing in Early TBC, I was using Mage Staff from Scarlet Monastery as my Enhancement Shamans weapon, imbued with Windfury... Killing 10 level higher rogue with 1 crit from the Windfury didn't help me realise I was doing it wrong.

The very first time I played WoW, I was still kinda noob to MMORPG games. I made a night elf warrior. Well I adventured into the spider cave that wasn't very far from where you start. I started killing one, then another aggro'd. Then more started aggroing onto me and I died. And by the time I died I was pretty far into the cave.
I notice, that when I die I turn into this little ball of light. And I'm like WTF??? I'm used to playing Guild Wars before WoW, so I just expected to res at a res shrine and be fine. I got so pissed having to try to find my body all the time, that I cancelled my subscription the next day. lmao ( I was such a pc game noob then) :p
When I made characters, I didn't know I could unlearn my talents and make a new talent tree. So, I would always make 3 characters of each classes just so I could try out all the talent trees.
Until recently, I've just known that Gnome and Troll don't have their main city.

This was a similar experience to me. Mine was with the Human starting area and Kobolds. I ended up just deleting my character and recreating one. He was only level 3ish so it didn't really matter, oh I miss my Beta days :)Quote:

I am a nooby ganking corpse camper, its true, i can't help it.
I completed the Shaman quest that combines all of my totems in one relic, and accidently destroyed it, so now I can't use any Totems...

Ok so I got the quest to kill Van Cleef...I ask a guy what should I do and he replies me I start spamming LFM DM...ok so I get this warrior...and then I see a mage running past me.I invite him.He had all heirlooms on him so he had a crapload of health...and i ask him:Can you tank?
Long time ago some guy linked me enchanting.
I found enchant for +60 spell power (on weapon)
But I didn't know that its only for wep.
So I told him: I want it on head,shoulders, weapon and chest

When i start playing(somehting like 5-6 years ago) i made a human warrior and lvl up to 15 by mobs, then i saw ahunter with a pet and i asked him where i can buy a pet and he tells me about hunter pet. Lvled a rogue to 28 just by mobs as usual and then delete him becouse i didnt like his hair style. Lvled up a orc hunter until 40 as usual by grinding, and get mad when i discover that i cant mount my pet :(, after 5 mounth i reached lvl 70 with that hunter. Once i lvl up a mage to 20 and i get ganked so many times by 2 rogues undeath that i hs to sw and start swearing to everyone becouse they didnt help me /logout delete my mage and make a horde char lol
i use to not use keybind and still pwning in bg's and arena
now that i use keybind i suck at pvping !!!
Vanilla WoW i had a NELF druid i got to level 40 before i even knew about talent trees. :o
The first char I rolled was a warlock, and I thought armor was a big deal even for casters, so upon upgrading gear I took it into consideration.
I also didn't know what stats was I supposed to collect until like level 55
(like, stam + int for spellcasters)
So I often ended up getting spirit.
I even ninja'd a piece of the priest D1 set because I thought
"hey cool, set bonus will give 200 armor! Damn that spirit will also be very useful!"
