After 5 years of PVP on Cata, Mop and Wod i finally said ill give WOTLK a try

hydra has tons of 5.4 videos as well...maybe you should check them out they are pretty cool....similar to wotlk but better with alot of them new fun spells...

and about the number of damaging and defensive abilities....sure sometimes less is better, but in case of wow its like saying you can make the same song on a guitar with 3 strings instead of all 6...and ofc...you could maybe make a better one on 3 string guitar than me on 6, but this kid genious like hydra around can show his full potential on the 6 stringed one...same shizzle we got here...

WOW is about 90% a GEAR bases game, not a skill based game ( dont matter if its wotlk or MOP )
On a private Server its a Gear+Bug Based game 92%.
Sure you will meet the skill on high arena rating, and there will be a WALL. But overall wow is not a skill based game, try out other games and you will see.

My point is that you may have more abilities and you can vary a bit more your personal playstyle with the new mop talent sistem, but on wotlk you have tons of more debuffs, dots, diseases that you always have to refresh, to apply and to time properly, while from cataclysm those aspects of the pvp have become automatic. So that you can focus more on the damage, on the burst and the crowd control abilities. But that's not funny anymore to me. You need less knowledge of the class you are playing and of those you are countering. Balance has always been an issue on wow pvp but on cata and mop it hasn't improved at all, and classes are not more complex to be played.

refreshing dots is hard? what does it add to the overall interest of the game? what diferent strategies it adds to the game? and decision making?

You need to be more focused on them, on which enemy player you have applied, before making a switch or using your offensive/defensive cooldowns. Dots are just a part of them. Guess why I've seen only few warriors in cata using demo shout and thunder clap when they were trained down by a double mdps team.

LK and MoP had their ups and downs and for me both had great PvP for their time ...but i really liked the shift made on mop ... instead of focusing on refresh dots, you are able to focus on stuff that actually adds to a more dynamic and fast paced PvP.

thats a bunch of rubbish right there....explain it to me why 90% of the people are under 1800 then on retail? on mop and wod all have the same full pvp gear....after all people on mop and wod got the same gear its pure skill and comp/class based game...gear has nothign to do with it...ofc on wotlk its a different story but top guys prolly all have bis, its the mid tier where soeme one got higher rating cuz of gear compared to someone more skilled that didnt have it....like when you goit to 2200 and didnt have a clue just cuz of gear class comp carry

Tell me the class you play because you seem to be unable to recognize the skill of a great warrior like zage.

whats so amazing in his plays? that he intervens and charges and kites when hes low/eats traps and then 2 shots people? not feelin it....warrior was always a straighforward tunneling class, not a good example....give me some of your favourite vids of the best plays you seen in wotlk,....any class will do

ok when i said i wanted to see creative pvp videos of wotlk i didnt mean a hunter in world pvp ganking pve geared noobs that are waiting to raid....i think its understandable we want to see arena, rgb or duels vs other skilled top rated oponents

Shut up and enjoy good pvp, lower lvl player vs 2-3 higher level noobs etc. Nothing better than that. Who care for boring arenas? Robot style playing.

If you want 3.3.5 arenas type reckfull, hydra etc. really not good to find.
