Crafting icc / toc items will be cheaper.. but even at this moment there is so many of that in ah / global / trade ... I am BS so exacly know how many of that I can sell... I will tell you... I dont rly care couse I have to spam / put on ah or tarde 3-4 day to sell 1 pair.... another is JC... there is tons of gems already... so the dmg would not be so big... But how extra emblems can affect ALchemy.. all need flasks and will need.... just like other proffs. And how extra emblems can affect BOES... You cannot buy all items with high GS... BOES will keep normal prices...

Economy is not affected , as i read here few ppls said, there will be alts which they need gems glyphs , enchanting ...i dont know how to call these things that warmane doing. they should put high drop on icecrown and lowest ever drop on lordareon , for those who want feel blizzlike must go on lordareon and burn his brain there. Every time when we like smth what you doing , you ruining so fast . i understand many ppls saying drop to big and bla bla bla , just go on lordareon. we arleady have 1 realm that is restricted , why we should have 2? let emblems make us happy. honestly , i will dont join anymore if this event is not more"attractive"

Lol,lol,lol,wait a minute.Stable economy?Drunk or something?.You think that a stable economy is this right now?Few guilds control the whole AH,your precious primos are going from 2.8k to 4.5k gold in less then a day,a bh,that used to be 5-6 k gold without any drop chances changes got to average of 9k,arctic fur before was 400-500 gold,now it's going almost at 1k. Those examples show how much this is balanced and that's why a gold squish is coming in a hope that it will stabilize the economy for some time.Also as mentioned before those emblems aren't infinite.

One thing I find the most disturbing is that the ones complaining about the event are located in the 1x Lordaeron server, and they have had the event running non stop (someone correct me if this is not the case), yet, the ones getting the short end of the stick are us in ICC, with a horrible lag the day of the event, server crashes and what not, the event got removed, added, removed, nerfed, added, removed, et all.

It's as simple as this, don't like it, don't do it, not because you don't like does it mean everyone else needs to share your bitter and narrow view of things, the majority of the players liked the event (your guild does not count, if your guild shares your negative views about the event, you are just a bitter minority that just so happen to be on the same guild, but that's what guild are for no?), won't go into the economy non-existent issue some players are creating in their heads because now they won't be able to rip people off with the prices, there is also the gold cut coming, so prices are going down, event or no event.

All in all, the event has had some hiccups, im sure they are working on it.

To be quite fair, if that was to be the case, that's literally their own fault. Those same players have access to the forum and their input could actually make a good impact regarding the facts that are now being discussed. However, as usual, those same players have this weird tendency of showing up late and once they actually show up; They've lost their time to actually make an impact. It has been like this for years, therefore, the fact that those people talk with the guilds or raid groups about this, doesn't change much. The feedback is mostly taken from the forums and from the bugtracker, everything else, kinda falls under the rule of irrelevant.

Here's the issue;

Most of the players actually making complaints about the state of the event were players from Lordaeron itself. To be fair, Lordaeron rate should be lower than Icecrown due to the fact that Lordaeron is a "hardcore experience". However, instead of Lordaeron suffering those changes, Icecrown also gets punished. Doesn't sound like nothing new to me, actually. Here's how things should be done in a proper way;

a) Adapt the nerfed drop rate from Lordaeron to Lordaeron only - They're the Hardcore realm, therefore, that's the server where this kind of events need to be controled at all costs.

b) Last year, Ragnaros and Deathwing got presented with such feature and they got served with the original rate (now nerfed). The gold values were completely out of hand and that was the main reason why the economy broke completely. I notice a lot of people mentioning how it becomes easy to make gold through the purchase of Primordial Saronites and Crusader Orbs, etc., however they seem to forget that the economy will have much more than that thanks to the gold squish that is coming just around the corner. What should be done in this particular case, is the reduction of the gold drop rates. This would allow the economy to be controled until the gold squish. The emblem drop rate should work in the exact same way considering that this event has a short time existence, plus, the emblems themselves won't make any sort of game breaking situation considering that Icecrown is already covered and filled with thousands of BiS characters anyways. If anything, leaving the rate as it is, only brings more competitive reasons for players to gear more alts and generate more server activity with those same characters.

The big mistake here? It's the fact that Icecrown got the same rate change while compared to Lordaeron. Sure, I agree that it is a really bad spotlight for whoever had this brilliant idea but recognizing your own mistakes and flaws when calculating and implementing this same changes on Icecrown would only provide you credit on the long run. Technically speaking, you still have time to fix the change in that specific realm anyway.

The events where ****ed last year also, they had plenty of bugs took a little while to fix, sit back wait and they might extend event's like last year also after they are fixed.

in the end i can understand emblem problem... instead of 200 give 100... not a 0.... (yes 8-10 emblems for 40 mins is a 0 for me)
but what i cant understand is according to staff cow king is working ''properly''.... but its UNKILLABLE...... even with a bis grp.....
atleast fix him so we can get what was intended from the moment this even was made few years ago.... tabards, mounts etc....so we get atleast smtng....
bcaz like this its not even fun or doable....

Fully agreed. However my point was that the people complaining on forum are just a tiny percent of the total population.

one more thing... u the staff said that uv taken comunitys opinion in this decision... and as far as i can see theres MUCH more ppl wanting it to be as it used to... meaning more emblems.... i wonder whose opinion did u take then.....

I understand. I thought that the emblems and gear were rolled back though weren't they? I'll go hit up Proterean to double check.
Edit: It seems that they wanted to, but it's not really feasible without rolling back other stuff that shouldn't be affected (people doing raids and stuff). They've done some things to try and mitigate the damage as much as possible, but eh. Anyway, they're discussing the possibility of a full revert, but I don't know. It's complicated to handle it without taking stuff away from people when they didn't get the stuff from the snowmen/cows.

A full revert is a damage that shouldn't be done under any circumstance. That will just make the community even more frustrated and pissed off. The best way out that exists right now is to revert the changes applied on Icecrown and let Icecrown live under the same terms that were originally designed and intended keeping in consideration that the required reductions to gold rates and emblems were already done. Players will still have time to recover the "time lost" with this stutters and, in the end, they'll still be happy to see an alt character geared up with the days that they have left to enjoy the such features.

However, Lordaeron should be kept under the same terms since the rates and features are on a completely different stage. Applying a rollback to Lordaeron, right now, will only cause an awkward situation since raid locks, raid loots, etc, will also be involved.

To be clear, a full revert won't happen. It was just being discussed, nothing more. Not going to happen. At all. Ever. Doesn't matter how many people ask for it.

Fully agree about rollback. It would be only pouring gasoline on a burning fire at the moment. As for rates, low for Lordaeron as not to make any big impact on the whole gameplay because of blizzlike rates and as for icecrown to find a middle ground for both events (if the delay problem gets fixed ) not too high drop rates and not too low to make it worth your time (talking about the situation cows are in, with 1.3m hp and 3d cooldown)

Instantly removing posts is not helping my loss of faith in this server.

You poorly launched cows (again), took 2 days to fix it (by somehow breaking RDF). Then players realized you don't get any eofs from cows, and we can't queue rdf for eofs either. It's fair to complain.

If your "complain" is nothing but mocking us, I can help you not feel tempted to "complain" as such for a while.
