And from daughteru zone to vidya zone: started Ys II today. Traversed an entire dungeon, but was unable to defeat the boss (presumably I need to do it later, currently I can't even hurt it). I also need to find a flower from the cave to cure some girl's disease. This is definetly the antithesis of linear, there's so many turns and floors that I'm beginning to dread what the final dungeon of this game might be like.
