Well in those cases. To become Bill Gates you'll need the help of other people. Possibly have them invest in your business or invention. But at that point you rely on yourself. If you want to become president of a fortune 500 company, you're going to need experience and knowledge. No one can help you obtain that knowledge and experience but yourself. It's already out there, it's just up to you to find it and obtain it.
You can always obtain knowledge from schools and experience from other people or actually working in a company. But you're doing all the work. You're the one that found the school, the teachers, the knowledge and experience. You're the one that decided that you NEED to obtain the knowledge and experience to run a successful business and you're the one that accomplished it by working hard and spending time.
We rely on each other. And only each other. And you can accomplish anything you want....for the most part lol. You'll just need help.
God only helps those that can help themselves.
