I'm Agnostic, just so we cut down those "so edgy atheist" remarks. I believe in the concept of a God, I just don't think He cares about our comings and goings.

When I was really young I used to think God wasn't as powerful as everyone thought and he couldn't help everyone so he didn't help anyone at all. And that's when my beliefs of religion started to blow up :|.

I enjoy having debates on religion. The only time I start insulting peoples beliefs is when someone insults mine or if they start pushing their beliefs onto me (aka Jehovah Witnesses...They never come to my house anymore =/ ). I enjoy reading and listening to how people interpret the bible, life, death and their beliefs.
Because if I pray, He may guide me to the right path, or the prayer just makes me more aware of my decisions. The latter is the rational, true effect prayer has on us. It affects our psyche.
As I've said many times, I believe God has created a big cluster of paths for us. Each decision is a crossroads, each consequence is a road. A map of the "life's journey" would look like something you'd get by taking branches from 10 trees, painting them, then slapping a paper with those branches. He wants to see how we fare, and has certain expectations.
Destiny exists, because all paths are pre-made, but free will exists as well, as we are free to choose from those limitless paths. Karma exists, because a bad choice usually has bad consequences. Taking the wrong turn sends you down a bad road.
