I just witnessed a warrior bladestorm crit me for 10k, while I have 950 resi and 15k armor. Now I am not the guy that usually complains about the human racial, in my opinion it is not the main reason why PvP is not balanced in BGs. However that really got me thinking how crazy the burst damage can be at its best with 2 dps trinkets. Anyone who would argue EMFH is not the best racial is just trying to make themselves feel better.Quote:

EMFH is the best racial in the game, but not by a huge margin. What really makes that burst is best in slot gear, not only second pve trinket but also weapons and offset, which give insane amount of stats. In the right hands I believe it wouldn't make much difference if it was an orc warr with bis gear and full procs... If people could only use PVP gear in bgs/arenas, I'm not sure if EMFH would be the best racial.Quote:

These racials aren't imbalanced but they create imbalance in bg by gathering skilled players.
Cool thing i noticed that 50% rogues in Horde don't know they have Distract,Feint, ToT abiltiy ... Mostly those HALF PVE full arp socketed rushing to 20k mage and still getting rekt and are like "omggg my pve dmg carry me plizzz"
It's not just horde rogues, it's the majority of the rogues on this server. Don't even get me started on rogues who just ambush spam in Shadow Dance, that grinds my gear.Quote:

I could name a list of all the stuff that happens all the time when I do bgs on my rogue. All the way from the basics as the classic 14k hp dk that deathgrips your target where you just shadow danced on with shadow step on cd. To the classic shadow priest that needs to dot every single thing up from players to multiple demolishers, because who needs a blinded demo or player anyway? Or the classic wsg scenario where your teammates feel the need to go on the player(s) you just cc'd out of the fight, because the other enemies aren't good enough. The list goes on and on and on, not to mention how even friendly rogues mess up all your stuff.

I think imbalance is beyond one faction wins all the times. I play horde on icecrown and we win around %40 of times. Both factions have their win streaks. However bad side is bgs are never competetive, always one side steamrolls another. Horde or alliance doesnt matter. For a VERY long time i havent seen an eots result something like 1300/1600. or in wsg 3/2. there are never comebacks, no competition, no "omg are we gonna win xd" thrill. I really liked that sensation, it made me like wow back in the day. I wish warmane somehow integrate rated bgs to the wotlk.
The walk over for one side or the other and maybe 1/100 to 1/50 competitive bgs will never be improved, they have said many times they aren't going to do anything non wotlk blizzlike to balance bgs, they have also stated they will not do rated bgs for wotlk.
Pure random bgs, without faction or premade grouping in RBG, which would improve the ratio of competitive to walkover BGs, has been rejected many times.
More advanced match-making like taking into account classes and roles (with unblizzlike role lock the moment you enter the BG) and iLevels (starting with as even as possible distribution of highest iLevel players and checking their bank and bags for wearable items iLevels to prevent abuse by wearing low gear and switching to high gear) is just a dream.
This server focuses on PvE.
Ruin a PVE raid for 2-3 people who might have needed some items by ninjaing (or max 25 people if RO): 60 day ban.
Ruin PVP for 250-1000 people day after day by afk botting: 5 day ban, honor wipe (so srs), and keep all your 300k+ honor worth of already aquired botted gear.
Just the joke bans for f**king over pvp says all that needs to be said about the concern this server has for pvp.
Well I do agree that punishment should be increased in terms of PvP. There is one more thing you should consider tho, the punishment is also determined of what the player is accused of and perhaps the player has been punished before. 60day bans are usually 2nd ban on account(more or less).
