I actually defeated him mostly by punching him. I shot him once in a while to make him pause his running. I ran out of Mk.22 ammo eventually, so I had to rely on a lethal gun for one shot. Didn't help much, sadly. I eventually sneaked behind him, threw a stun nade at him and kicked him in the face to finish the fight.
