Hi,
QQ - can I equip transmogged, profession specific items?
Let's say I have an item that requires Engineering (300) and used Scroll of Deception on it. If I don't have the proficiency, will I be able to equip the item I mogged? If I remember it correctly you can't mog an item if you don't have the skill proficiency of it in Cata.
Not sure if this was asked on this thread but I used search feature and found no results. Hope someone can help!
Cheers
At first I hated this, but been it can add a fun new element to the game for years+ players.
The only painful issue is for Lordaeron players. Due to the fact that it is a progression server and not a "fun/pay4swag" server, that your gear is constantly changing, requiring you to aquire scrolls for upgrades almost every raid. This is quite tedious and discouraging. They should've made the transmogs equippable and not deleted/removed when you aquire a new upgrade without the mog on it.
The system is meant to be an accomplishment, not "what am I going to wear today?" Even in Icecrown using Scrolls for every piece of equipment as you level up isn't how you're supposed to do it. Either you save scrolls for when you have what you're going to keep for the character's career or yes, you will be doing a lot of grinding to get enough scrolls.
One of the rules is for you to be able to equip said item. Some pages earlier some people had issues with a weapon because they didn't have the proper smithing specialisation. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can use the scroll on an item if you cannot already wear it.
Thanks for the help!
Hi, here. I have a question. Why I can't transmog my one-hand mace into dagger on my shaman for example but other classes can transmog one-hand axe into one-hand sword (i saw such DK) or one-hand mace into one-hand axe (i saw such shaman). It's pretty unfair :S.
PS: i tried to transmog [Royal Scepter of Terenas II] into [Starshard Edge] what are Main Hand weapons both of them and the game didn't allow me to make transmog.
Sooo.. this happend: I xmogged my head piece with a nice Uludar one and now the system doesn`t recognize the set anymore:
