So virtually you gain 753 euro a month, which is pretty much the sum I spend on the bills and stuff. Sounds about right. On what basis are you on welfare, if you don't mind me sticking my nose?

I see. Well I hope you two are okay out there.
We make a **** ton of money where I live but the cost of living is quite high as well.
My house cost us $330000, to put things in perspective. It's maybe 1600 square feet.
I'd say we spend at least $2500 a month on food--we don't eat out.
The most important test of my life is in 7 days and I'm not studying at all but playing sc2mafia.
Woah.
Nope. It's between $1500 and $2500 depending on how much we splurge on the 'good' food (read: spoiling ourselves), but we also only buy quality ingredients and the meals we make tend to be extravagant--not caviar, but incredibly involved and delicious.
Lately we've been buying lots of indulgences so...probably closer to $2500.
$2500/month is up there, but definitely not unbelievable for a family of 4-5 in an area like his. $250/month would feed one person well where I live, and where I live is the bottom of the barrel in terms of standard of living. (You can buy a house for $110k with 3 bedrooms, 2 floors, in an "estates" area of housing.)
I love oranges their my fav fruit
