This has been a thing with Warmane. They do less "we are working on it" type of posts, and focus on the task at hand. It's been so in the past, and it will (most likely) be so in the future.

People just want the "truth", regardless of how ignorant they may be, but that is just human nature, and since the donating page went down around the same time the retail WOTLK servers went live, it's a coincidence and human nature doesn't like those. Regardless of what you, or a GM say, they aren't going to believe you. They are going to believe whatever they chose to believe as the truth, and in this moment it is a conspiracy that has come about from the fearmongering over the last few years since Classic released that implies when Classic reached WOTLK, Warmane and other 3.3.5 servers would be shutdown. Warmane community is already volatile to the idea of a mass reset because of what has happened in the past. People also are afraid to come out and just say it, or really know how to articulate accusing the staff of trying to coverup impending doom (which probably isn't happening) so they are demanding some form of validation and assurance.

Honestly, these people have been trolled so much over the last 3 years, believing the servers are going to get taken offline, just waiting for this day, that the missing donate page is just sauce on the pasta lmao.

If you want to know how I got my forum title (it's automatic btw, I have no say in the matter), look at my post history. 100's of posts telling how to deal with issues that's been asked here over 100 times (just like this thread soon). Only because people can't google or use search function on forum. Sorry for helping others I guess.

You want/"need" information, and you want staff to provide it for you. "What means cater to? : to provide what is wanted or needed by (someone or something)".

"If the staff doesn't answer, that's it, every player can ask a question anyway". So, why the question needs to be asked repeatedly, if few times is already enough? If players are asking the same question in the same thread 100 times, and I chime in every 10 or so, telling that it's rather pointless (why do I have to even tell this, it should be obvious by now), it's me who is spamming? People aren't reading all the posts, if they were, they would've stopped asking after Palutena and Obnoxious' replies.

This is all we're going to get until it's eventually fixed. The announcement might have some info of what happened (don't hold your breath). The best we can do at the moment is to wait and have patience. Enjoy the game.

I never comment on forums but id like to say that OhieMitzen is just a great forum member.

The main loser here is warmane themselves. They are losing money,but still not adequate announcement is made nor action is taken seems like. 1 week with broken donation page is bad for bussiness

Seems like they're tip toeing around Blizzard actions to me

they've already said that they won't give an ETA, at all. and they have very good reasons as to why they won't.

I would have expected to see something from a dev or higher up by now!!! But with that being said, to those that are wondering....
Due to the long period of silence and very little information and concern on the matter leads me to believe that now that WotLK Classic is released to public, Blizzard has been throwing Copyright Hammers out to all the Private servers that are running Wrath effecting the possible business they are losing. Majority of everyone playing here would either find another WotLK Private server similar, or go ahead and go to Classic (hence them losing money). So they are not responding due to a legal matter.
I am going to assume I am correct due to the fact they have not given a reason to as to why, and have not seemed concerned or bothered by it at all. Leading me to believe there are bigger issues at hand.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong Warmane. Maybe now we can get an actual reason and possibly be informed on if the donation page is permanently shut down or if it will be back up after the legal battle you are facing. Alot of people are waiting on you to make an actual official announcement other than "Yes it is down. It will be up when it's up". Just your standard beat around the bush troubled response.

It is more than just obvious that there is 3rd party involved with this issue not warmane itself.

Since the donation is down and I'm somewhat new to Warmane can someone tell me the rates for coins and what are the price brackets or is there not price bracket meaning we can just donate any amount and the website will just calculate a coin amount based on that for us?
