WOD is dangerous to Warmane

When they switched to OVH, the server costs became so much smaller that I don't think it really matters to Warmane as long as there are SOME players.. (e.g. around1500/4000). The hardware in OVH is basically so cheap that they can even have few machines running empty when compared to the prices of softlayer lol.

That could be yet another reason why Warmane wants to expand so agressively to new expansions lol

Personally i love this. No matter how divided the community gets when it comes to expansions, there is something for everyone to try :) What i would love even more, is a feature to "upgrade" your characters into further expansion, (however not backwards) when you have run out of stuff to do.. For exmaple, WotLK players could move their favorite characters into cataclysm and enjoy that expansion next, and then move on to MoP as they run out of content again. This could also ensure that each expansion would not die out.

3 exp with toons of work spells/balance/visuals/etc and you want WOD? Lol no. Server are allmost dead WOD not going to fix issues with online.

When warmane had 7 realms with only Wrath expansion, server had a good times weekly updates. News/MIT and much more. Even online was fine less donator everywhere.

Now we have 3 expansions and you want one more, development now slow like turtle and you want make slower and slower. We get like in a month 1 barely 2 updates.

WOD not gonna fix anything just cause more work as allways and complaining. Why not stick to one expansion and develop it to fully working after that move on on next expansion. Or atleast get 3 dev teams who work on each exp.

WoD realm means a LOT of time to fix bugs and script things. Seriously, it's gonna take a LOT to make stuff work and make it playable. Live realms are currently on 6.1.2, and they already added too many things never seen in WoW before, with more complex scripts, which means that in order to make them work here, on Warmane, it will take too much time. Considering the fact that there are 3 other expansions on our community and the devs can't handle them all, I don't think that a WoD developing project might be healthy for Warmane. There are still many bugs on MoP, obvious bugs that have been tracked for so long, but are not solved yet.

I dont think there should even be a mop realm yet, ****kin fix the wotlk servers first then move on to another project ffs. Wotlk is the most populated servers here and yet half the content STILL doesnt work properly, Barely and 3s q 5s nonexistent. Get rid of hackers in PvP , Make all the instances and raids work, give us dala sewers arena on deathwing and rag! Then when yall have done as much as possible to make the wotlk realms NEAR perfect, work on cata and so on so forth, but its just plain stupid to keep moving forward and leaving projects unfinished. Doesnt speak well for the future either.

This lines have been uttered many a times.. but yea.. Wotlk 100% NOT WORKING,Catacalysm 100% NOT WORKING,MOP 100% NOT WORKING.. make other servers work 100% first .. i am sure you will get more players by doing this. WOD isnt that much fun btw :/

Those are 2 different time periods. MIT was when cata was launched already (even on 4.3.4 if I'm right). + Donators are not bad really... is it so hard to beat them? I can't understand that...

I agree with the part that WoD will not fix anything and add more work etc.
I also agree with the one expansion and then move on part BUT there are 3 development teams.
Or well... atleast there are developers that work on only one expansion (example being Green_Dev, only works on Cataclysm). Putting a guy like Green_Dev on WotLK would make no sense. He already said once that he does not like WotLK, it would not be good foor his motivation nor scripts to put him there.

Honestly I dont see the fuss about rushing into WoD, development on other realms is really really slow atm, we were promissed a 90% working state of realms 6 months after the hyjack happened and judging by the speed its moving now we will be happy if that goal will be reached 1 year from now, and its not like blizzard makes it easier with each expansion to copy the game experience you get on retail. Getting a playable WoD realm will take twice as much time then to get a 80-90% working other realms, if I were the shoot caller at warmane I would take this into consideration, and people wont pay for a WoD beta, they will pay for working WotLK, Cata and MoP realms.

First release more PvP content like arenas and bg's on MOP then think about WOD. I played wod beta on AT, it wasnt bad actualy, it even had more bg's than we have on MOP.

More BG's and arenas on MOP > WOD

That should be the prio.

Okay let's elaborate something here and now. First of all back when things were Molten (before that drama) cores of each expansions were different and it lead to scripts being non-compatible between expansions. Why isn't it same core now? If you're gonna implement WoD realm with yet another different core, and make all previous work useless than i think that is very smart. Because who wants older content on a newer realm? Who gives a damn for achievements/transmogs/mounts from previous expansions? Three development teams you say, but the updates are being published on a monthly basis, why? Kinda getting a feeling that Molten really screwed up somewhere on the road in terms of development. As everyone else is saying, back in WoTLK days updates were on a weekly basis, why is it not possible now? And last but not least, WoD would not do any good thing if it opens now when things aren't working as they should be. Many bugs on each expansion, so i don't see how would WoD realm help in terms of progress. Cheers :)

What point play on server and grindfest your gear/etc when a scrub with no knoweledge of wow came and donated BIS gear and he still suck? This piss me alot. Rariest game mount runing around/TCG/etc items old content removed items exist still. and ofc bugs in all 3 exp.

Don't get me wrong warmane is slow like turtle, now they wand WOD it's even more complex and hard to make fully working servers on pandaria even is a challange.

They should stick on one expansion and develop it to fix 90% cause now every bug ruin pve. Balance in pvp is even worse.

Like i said i doubt blizzard will look into warmane when they release WoD because due to the unplayable contents many of the WoD players will realize fck this im going to retail, i think that will bring more business to blizz lulz.
Thing with private servers is people want to play previous expansions because we all know how much blizzard ****s up every expansion on the road for example talent tree. If anyone wants to play WoD then why the hell would anyone go to a private server to play.

4. hackers/ cheats
5. donors
6. ques ( for RDF or even BG gawd knows how slow que is for sargeras.)
Again i ask why the hell would anyone go to a private server to play WoD??? Aren't private server's role is to provide previous expansions we all miss and love?
I would have NO objection if Warmane decided to release a "working" Burning Crusade server cuz fark i will play on that all day evvvurrrydaayy, ill be like JUST TAKE MY MONNNIIEEESSS WARMANE!
