I'm sure there were also names among them that were recently online?

Original Post says that if you havent played since Jan 2024 youll have your named removed. But it looks like Warmane actually did Jan 2025!
im disappointed :/ I had to lose 10 points to rename a toon with a new name that had been reserved by a level 1 character for a long time. So, I got the name, logged in, and it was fine. Then, afterward, the server went down again, and I found myself eventually losing 10 points for nothing because my character went back to his original name. And guess what? That undead level 1, which was reserving the name I chose, went back to his original name, even though he should have lost it
Same, character with the name i wanted got renamed, spent points, server went down, boom old names again
They realized that too many were deleted and restored the database.
there was a situation where level 1 characters had their names removed, and we took those names. Everything seemed fine at first, but then the server disconnected. After the disconnect, I found that our names were taken back and we lost them, even though we had already claimed them. It feels like all that effort was for nothing.
I had many names removed, some of them I had since moltdown, even though I logged them this year and they all restored. Thanks warmane for the fix.

So why is it we lost the names? I had a few good names i tried so hard to get and had them only to be reset. kinda pissed off considering i took off work today just to attempt to get my name.
