The most pathetic secret of your wow gameplay

I don't gem and enchant my gear unless is Bis :) Waste of money and materials if I still change it tomorrow or in the near future. I know it may not be healthy thinking in WoW, alas it's what I do. I jest, I jest, don't smite me, but I only use cheap and weak gems and almost no enchant at all.

For a long time, I stacked stamina because I thought having a lot of HP would make me so much stronger. So I had around 13k hp as a level 70 rogue, but I wasn't anywhere near as strong as any rogue should be.

Like in most other MMORPG, you can only see the name above player characters. So when I first started to play WoW, NPCs had their names above themselves as well. So I began asking for help, directions, tips. Of course no one answered, they were NPC after all, so I was left with the impression that the WoW community is that bad ~sad thing is I wasn't too far off the truth~

I still play on my laptop, key turn and I'm still a clicker. But I'm impressively good. I'm sure I'd be 10x better in a PC or with a mouse and using key bindings.

recently i went back to my wotlk char,warrior i made a year ago after playing in vanilla retail back in the day.i thought i was ok nearly as good as i am now......best rating 1400 negative ratio with 2/5 wrathful and icchc25 donor weapon :D i thought bursting was just bladestorm in berserker stance.

oh ye,when cata came out here,i rolled shadow priest because in wotlk i thought ''they must be one of those classes that arent represented'' A ****ING SHADOWPRIEST!!IN WOTLK!! :D

i remember back on Wotlk(when i was lvling to 80 ( first char ever)" that i didnt know how to link items on chat. omg.

Like. What is strafing? I just started using it recently.
Also, addons? I don't need those. It took me about a year or so before I downloaded an addon because I thought they weren't needed.

It took me ages to understand gearscore, different stats and what they do, dungeon roles (DPS/Tank/Healer), the roll system thingy, item rarities... Well, pretty much everything. Even emblems confused me. xD

When i started playing WoW 5 years ago i made a Human Warrior thinking it was a paladin.
Back then i didn`t knew how to open the character panel.At one point i accidentally pressed "C" and saw to my shame that for 10 levels i was leveling the wrong class. :(

well i didnt knew that prot pala have avenging wrath. i tought he is like warrr tank who dont have death wish when he uses defensive talents. /shy

When I first started playing in WotLK, I made a dwarfadin, and leveled up to 10 in one day without venturing beyond the eastern half of Dun Morogh, eventually becoming the most well reputed paladin on the server.

I killed the level 11 elite Old Icebeard at level 6 (I called it a "skull-level" monster because it had a skull in the level spot) and started hurling myself at the level 12 Addled Lepers (also skull-level) at the entrance of Gnomeragan at level 7 after being distracted from a quest to get gears from the level 6 ones located nearby. Meanwhile, I believed death was permanent in WoW.

A few level 26-29 guys found me fighting those gnomes, and I tried to warn them about the scary midgets. I guess they were impressed or something because they helped me kill a few (probably bare-handed) and reach level 10, knowing nothing about talent points. That's when I found my first blue item (I was BS/Mining so I had a few greens, but this was mindblowing to me), Ironpatch Blade. So I asked them where I could learn to use swords, and they told me to go to SW.

I had seen 80s going up to IF, and assumed that, like the rest of the world, it was full of appropriately high level monsters and decided never to go there, meaning I never knew about the Deeprun Tram.

I looked at my map, zoomed out and realized that I couldn't get past the mountains on foot. It seemed obvious to me that I should swim there. So I thanked them, and set my sights on the nearest reachable coastline, eastern Wetlands, knowing full well the possibility that neither Wetlands nor Elwynn would have coastal access.

I ventured all the way to Menethil Harbor, staving off level 22 crocolisks all the way, by which point I had reached level 15, high enough to actually use the sword I found. Success was vital to me, everything I had worked for was coming to fruition.I jumped into the water and started swimming, walking on land whenever possible, and occasionally falling into the dangerous pitfalls of poorly programed geography.

Along the way, I met a Goblin, who sold me a BS plan I was very glad to receive, and shortly thereafter, the ports of SW came into sight. As I reunited with solid ground, a level 80 cat approached me (which was shocking enough on its own), asked me how I got to SW, and inquired why I didn't just take the tram from IF.

The last thing I expected was for him to turn into an absurdly tall elf and pull out a motorcycle, but that's what happened. He offered to take me to the weapon master, invited me to a group and told me to right-click his bike to get in. He showed me the entrance to the tram, told me about talent points, informed me that death was not permanent in WoW, and dropped me off at the shop, where he gave me 100 gold, druid buffs, before leaving.

Been playing 4 years, both on retail and servers like Molten, never used addons. This didn't stop me from tanking the goddamn LK without much difficulty as a Blood DK or doing my job as Hunter on retail.

Also, as the first toon I ever played, I rolled a BE hunter on a WotLK private server. After hitting level 20 and ending the Ghostlands quests I decided to go to UC to hand in some quests to Sylvanas. Of course, I had no idea there was a teleport from Silvermoon to UC. Thus my long, painful travel through the Plaguelands began. The most frustrating part has been passing through Corin's Crossing, trying to run from the OP undeads that kept killing me over and over. As I reached the entrance of Undercity I was at first overwhelmed by joy: no more undead monsters slaughtering me! But what's that shiny globe thing on the right part of the ruins? I can touch it. Let's do this!

One teleport later I started crying.

I don't play alliance thus making me miss 50% of the game's content

I am a clicker,use no macros and/or keybindings,but still i enjoy playing.

Only yesterday i found out that there IS zepelin from Ogrimar to Thunder Bluff,and i started wow early TBC..i was so sure that there is no zepelin to Thunder Bluff that i could bet all my gold on that.Lucky me i didnt do that.
When i first time logen in wow,made tauren hunter and atacked plainstrider while spaming atack button.I was pissed because my char was stoping his atack all the time so i deinstaled wow,didnt knew about auto atack :P

My first toon was a draenei shaman (tbc) and i used to tank dungeons as enhancement till lvl 59 when someone told me shamans aren't supposed to tank ;p

Back when I started playing, I didn't know that certain classes are affected by certain stats so... As a Warlock, I had Trnkets, Rings and Weapon that had Agility and Strength.

I didn't know about addons until WotLK was released.

My first ever dungeon that I entered was Hellfire Ramparts and, as somebody mentioned, I kept clicking Need on everything green/blue/purple that dropped. By 5th or 6th item people started yelling at me not to do that.
