How would you gem at BiS Gear levels?

Red: 20 AP + 10 Haste
Yellow: 20 Haste

or

Red: 40 AP
Yellow: 20 AP + 10 Haste

or everything 20 AP + 10 Haste?

He recommends hyperspeed, snd, and also has haste talent in his AOE hybrid talent, but that makes no sense to me if the instant posi procreate gets much lower with faster auto attack rate(unless classic has different way of calculating the proc rate).

The chance is not lower with higher haste, you must be misleaded somehow. Poison proc is affected by raw weapon speed (1.8, 1.4 for many dagers etc) and further haste bonuses does not affect the chance. I did many tests on dummy on that and I am very sure of that :)

I do use hybrid FoK rogue spec on Warmane Loarderon. I did modified some basics from Simonize you posted and modify optimal item list and talents to fit for Ruby Sanctum.

I am the rogue Confession. If you sort the table by tDps, i have my current best try 26.2K dps (unfortunately uDps does not count ads damage into account).

So yea. I can tell FoK and hybrid spec works as awesome as it looks like and Insta poison is definetly not nerfed by higher haste.

Yea, but the thing is you playing with combat gear which has 1/3 the haste of an assa rog. I know how it supposed to work, my question is does it actually works that way or not.

There is nothing more simpler than doing your own test.

I just equipped 2 daggers 1.8 speed. Both of them with instant poison. 4/5 Imporoved Poisons talents. Accortding to tooltips it should have 36 percent proc chance https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Instant_Poison

Now I did dummy test. 20 percent melee haste. Result is 247 hits of instant poison per 655 hits of autoattacks

247 / 655 = 0,377

If haste will lower this chance expected value would be around 30 percent. If you are still not convinced, do your own test with 2000 autoattacks. But this one you have to do on your own :P
