Even I can answer this one.
You stay for the end results, you dont have to like people to do your weekly raid, log in, get things done, get progression, get gear. At the end of the day when it comes to looking for bigger and better guilds you need this.
I experienced this first hand a few months ago. I was in a safe little friendly guild, but needed the progression, so I left joined a random higher progression guild, logged on purly to raid and then I'd log off, I didn't fell part of the team. In the end it was worth it, I got into the 3rd best guild on my realm, top 50 on EU and top 100 world... Why? Coz I had something to prove.
You have to be uncomfortable sometimes in order to progress onto bigger and better things, not everything can be on your terms.
I guess i enjoy the atmosphere my guild offers more than taking the game too seriously .-.
You guys all seem to think that our guilds were filled with *******s.
I actually dont .-. I just dont like taking a game seriously. My gf was in care during it's prime so i have an idea.
I honestly do not understand how can people fall for this
Spoiler:Show
I mean, you must have some kind of mental impairment to think that you can get something in life for Free; nothing is free, not even the air you breathe.
Name a number you think that many people fell for it, I say at least 20.
