I used to play ret paladin.
Went to ogrimmar as alliance because I didn't notice that I was reading an horde travel guide instead alliance guide
Right ammount of tanks? or just not the right tanks? I used to raid that on retail and ofc I was the mage that had to tank <.< so instead of my full epic gear I had to wear the green TBC random cloth drops (xxx of the wale). It looked ugly and was the worst thing ever! but atleast for once I had something important to do as mage.
If anyone is interessted why a mage had to tank: Because mages could steal this boss's shield so he was attackable and the mage could survive, until the other bosses of this encounter were dead I was the onlyone attacking and stealing shield, properbly like 15min solo on the 1 boss until the raid joined.
... EVERY WEEK, EVERY SINGLE ONE!
Emberassing story:
The mage I already mentioned was also my first WoW character ever and if you remember back then you got the 60% riding skill only at lvl 40 for 100g or something. Anyway I didnt even have gold for mount and riding skill when I got level 40, so I had to play mountless until I was level 49 :(
I stacked int/spi on my Prot Pala for a while, thought it was best stat, miracly I could still keep aggro on 1 mob, on the second one I always died :D
vanilla retail... before i knew how to keybind and use macro's
First 2 years of WoW play i didnt know about macros and keybinds! Also i tought proffessions had no influense in gameplay.... tought they were for fun, had no idea you can actualy make items!
i'm a clicker, and i still am
also, with my shaman, on my first instance with a random group, i was the healer of that group, and i dps'd at the same time, after a wipe i got kicked for using soulstone too soon n' stuff
back in vanilla (somewhat 2-3 weeks after wow came out) i made myself a nelf rogue and refused to take armor with agility and stuff, i even needed on cloth just because it looked cool
at the end i did look like a priest instead of like a rogue
also did i keyboardturn, click etc
Back in Vanillla, I had every Lock spell that was doing damage binded from 1 to 0. Then I would swipe my keyboard from left to right and repeat it again.
and...
Life tapping myself til I died in another buggy p.server during TBC.
I pop wings on lowbies I can 0.02 shot
I used to backpedal as a newbie hunter. Thought it was useful since I could keep facing towards the monster, stopping a bit every now and then for auto-shot, and I could melee them on every cooldown!
1. I tried to teach WoW to three of my girlfriends.
2. Back in Vanilla,i payed a human pally just to tell me how he got his judgement gear.
3. I used to be a clicker for the first 4 years I played.
4. At vanilla,i got a SS with me being behind Sylvanas, posted it on hi5 (or myspace, i dont remember) and captioned it " Check the chick i just scored". I was 20yo back then.
5. I used to CC people in vanilla being a mage, till they drown.
6. I still remember opening a ticket because my tauren shamy couldnt get through the MC door.
And the best one. At the third day of playing ever, i got a critical error. I uninstalled and didnt play for 2,5 months.
when i started @end of tbc i used to right click spam mobs because i thought it would attack more and faster and till 4 days i believed they died faster
