I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.
I think I threw her for a loop when I said, 'That's fine, honey.' She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, 'I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier.'
I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, 'No honey, I don't feel like it.'
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, 'WHAT?'
I then said, 'Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.'
And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, 'Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?'

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight.

Also speaking specifically, people greatly exaggerate Garen's "bad" lategame. Other than being relatively easily kited he's actually not bad at all, and in a 1v1 with a lategame Jax it can actually go either way. I've tried that matchup in a custom game vs my brother and like most people assumed Jax would wreck Garen lategame... turned out it wasn't the case.

Well yeah, the only reason Jax should beat Garen late game tbh would be if Counterstrike blocked Garen's E, or if you did an untraditional build on Jax and went with like LW or Ghostblade for the ArP. Garen does a sick amount of damage with just Brutalizer.

EDIT: Also, Jax should get relatively destroyed in lane by Garen. An early Tabi into Brut for Garen and Jax really won't be able to do much to him pre-6, and then even post-6 Jax will have to win trades extremely hard to not be in danger of Garen dropping the Big Demacian Dick on Jax for the execute.

I try to shoot for both ******* and troll. But I usually end up being the ******* of the realm. Which is completely fine with me :).
