We need to activate the rep farming. Nexus instance is closed forcing new players to enter battlegrounds instead of farming rep gears. All i see are lvl 85 with 60k-80k hp.

Nexus HC rep farm was a bug. It is also bug now (was before too) what normal 85 dungeons does not give u rep if u have tabard. Not even HC gives u rep. Is it reported on BugTracker?? It would be good that it gets fixed soon so that new 85 can buy rep gear before entering BG.
Ya Nexus was bug but there wasnt any other way to Grind up some Cataclysm Factions to exalted. now there??s none.
Not to mention, it's impossible to get friendly status with Cata factions (besides Hyjal) to buy a tabard... ;)
+1 we need more tbc/wotlk dungeons not just nexus
Guild rep from TB quests as well.
+1 It is extremely annoying to be on my new 85 warlock with nearly no way to get gear besides buying the gear on ah that is 30k-50k per peice
Unlocing craft gear will fix this faster and easier than fixing the rep bug. Vote for it
I'm not sure I'd like to encourage the use of PVP craft gear for PVE instances especially since said crafts easily bring them to the level of higher end heroics... Moreover, the rep items are not only a cheaper and easier alternative but far better itemized and can be reforged better, can't reforge resilience after all. Down the line of course this would be more ideal for the health of the community.Quote:

Any case I don't think the fix necessarily has to be opening a new dungeon but far simpler in that they just need to fix reputation gains from tabards with Cataclysm dungeons. And yes it is better than quest greens but idea was that newbies at least wouldn't attempt to foist themselves on a BG and use it as a stepping stone to PVE, which in itself is a very long winded endeavor since honor gains are bugged so that you accumulate it much slower than normal.Quote:

Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom was the best rep instance. 5 exalted reps in 30 minutes by farming last boss.
And someone mentioned that we need more WoTLK/TBC instances, totally agree with that.
