Are the shamans worth playing? I want to play elemental shaman, but he seems underplayed, and I wonder if he is nerfed or something. What is the difference with fire mages and others casters?

I am gearing one now, and tbh at 325 gear item level i was expecting more than 10k dps, yet thats what I can pull in dungeons.
Feels pretty underwhelming compared to their counterpart, enhancement which can pull up to 45k dps in raids.(with appropriate gear of course).
My assumption is that, in raids, elemental will hardly go over 25k dps overall.

#1 is enhance shaman
#2 is elemental
#3 is elemental
elemental seems to rely on gear so much more. i linked that screenshot because i have been a little busy lately, last 25man i attended. just keep gearing and work on your reflexes. unfortunately a good ele shaman will always fall behind enhance simply because of some major bugs that i listed in my ele shaman guide.

Noticed ur not too far behind as hunter either.
If mark applied its bonus to the dot part of explosive, serpent, etc, you would be top.
Also, what the hell did u do, max i got on my hunter was 31k in surv and 30k in beast mastery.
So obviously I could do more in suvival, yet I'm not entirely sure what im missing.
I do the usual rotation of course. Trinket (1 minCd)>explsove>ss>BA>cobra shot & arcane dump>if proc, explosive>arcane>explosive>cobra>explosive>arcane.
Really weird....
Also, I find the 2p bonus for ele shaman so underwhelming...........
The only 2 fights where Enhance could be Elemental are patchwerk type fights - Baleroc and Majordomo. On Beth'tilac, Alys, Shannox and Ragnaros elementals would simply be the best due to their awesome burst damage and mobility. Although our burst damage is currently not what we're supposed to pull.
