Current state of Enhance in MoP

Hi,
im playing Enhance shami in pvp, im Item level 466 (half epic half contender geared).
For some reason my dmg is pretty low in bgs. Im usually not even under the top 5 in dmg done.
Warrior, locks and hunter keep out dpsing me badly. From time to time the mentioned classes do even 3 times more dmg than i do.
I checked the bug tracker and found a few bugs like "Ascendance doesn't reset the cooldown of Stormstrike" , Ghost Wolf doesnt attack and Flametongue Weapon scales with sp instead of ap.
That are annoying bugs but i couldnt find a major bug that would explain why the dmg is so damn low.
Is there any game breaking bug that i missed?
I was thinking that enhance shami might be very gear dependent but now im already half epic geared and my dmg is still low as f***....

Whats ur experience with Enhance shami in MoP?
Are u ever topping the dmg charts in a bg?

enha shaman is weapons dependant, what weapons are you using? Anyway wars hunt and locks are always dmg done toppers, enha is not made to top dmg like those classes really. not that it means anything to top dmg on a bg.

Im using double Malevolent Fists as weapon.
I know, beeing rank1 in dmg doesnt grant me anything. Im not one of these kind of ppl that is ignoring the bg target and is brainless pvping just to be first place in dmg.

The thing is that my dmg is so damn low that i dont understand what is going on.
Today i was fighting 1vs1 against a lock.
I poped all my offensive cds: Ascendance, Stormlast Totem and dmg trinket.
I was hitting him with all this abilitys for the full duration of Ascendance and the lock didnt even drop under 90% hp. :D
I mean how is this possible? The lock didnt cc me at all and still his health doesnt drop....

With 5.4 locks became little bit tanky with hard defencive Cds.probably it's lack PvP power tht u have got:/i'm playing my brother's lock sometimes n i always have hard times agnst enhance,they wont let me to build up a single ember...

It might be the lack of pvp power. I have currently 27% increased dmg with pvp power.

well it all depends on the talents the lock had in this case, there's a talent that prevent the lock from taking ANY damage for 8 secs or so and then 50% of the dmg does in a dot, if he uses another cd on that he will take 0 dmg so maybe that's that. Anyway with more pvp power you'll get more dmg for sure :D I saw enhas blowing up ppl like hunters so don't worry

Oh my god. So locks have now bubble...
It seems that shami is the only class left that has no ability to prevent all incoming dmg.

your bubble totem is pretty op right now because it has no distance . you can be 200 yards away from the totem and it will still continue to bubble you

stormlash is bugged.. kinda low on damage.. and if am right the proc from eb procs after the hit.. but still need to test and research that... our crits seem lower to. so maybe stormstrike does not give us 25% crit change on eb... how to top the dps chart... go really deep. and spread flameshock as a crazy mofo...

hmm my enh is only 480ilevel atm and he is really heavily gear dependant I am topping DMG in BG a lot sometimes not being first but it´s mostly when there are wars/DKs/locks with 488+ gear :P

Locks also can chose Sacrificial Pact, absorb shield which absorbs a lot, however there is a bug - warlocks have increased HP even if they do not take Soul Link talent and that absorb is based on current health. Also warlocks usually pop that absorb before duel starts which means it is not affected by Battle Fortitude.

meh a real enh would out dps those locks and abusestorm warriors.... dont gonne say dks. cause that are scary mofos.
