Fury warrior need help to improve

Hello,


Im looking for a way to increase my dps as fury warrior. Im raiding from 2 weeks now and as far i can see my dps seems low, my guild mates are telling me that my dps is good but i play before warrior and back then was alot higher.My warrior is around 6.3gs with all 2 bonuses from the tier set. As trinkets i have STShc and DBWhc, with 2 glorezelghc, full ench and full gems.

This is my spec
In game stats with out buffs are:
AP-5808
ARP- 100%
Crit R- 55.67%
Hit - 8% (sometimes i do miss like max 5 special hits but even i didn't miss at all dps is the same)
Exp - cap 27 (yes i do know that here in molten 22 or 23 is ok)

My dps:
The number below are not bursting its the dps i end up after we kill the boss.
TOC 25 hc - from 13k to 15.5k and im talking pure st no aoe dmg involved.
ICC 25 hc - St fights abit over 14.5 to 16k, DBW - 19.5k-21k no hysteria from blood dk or other buffs that can help my dps only BL.
Atm we are not raiding with warrior as tank so i provide SA on bosses.

So far i played with alot fury bis warriors with glorezelg and cryptmaker, my special and white hits, hit harder than theirs whit a margin at least 1.5k dps(on special sometimes even more but that really depend on trinket proc, anyway i didn't see time when theirs special hits average dmg is bigger than mine) on average and they end up 2-3k dps behind me. Im giving that they probably are not good at warriors because now after the wipe alot of players roll characters that they dont usually play before.
Last time i was playing in molten as warrior around 4 years ago at 6k gs i was pulling 20k easily, now my dps is so low that i dont know what to do.

Please i need advice what i can do to improve my dps.Share your points of view.

I did test Glore + Crypt and the lose is big time not even worth to argue if you want go with that choice i dont.

Your dps seems really good, especially considering that you are providing SA. Molten repaired a lot of bugs since 4 years ago (buff stacking fix was a big one - dps is lower in general). My best dps before wipe with full bis fury was 24.5 (no tricks, no hysteria); anything above 21k is great.

Just a side note.. expect you to know this.. bleed debuff is quite a noticeable increase in dps as well (deep wounds and eventually rend).

Im rending yes but its not 100% uptime. Its on free gcd without glyph for it, its around 1.5 to 2.6% from my total dps on the fight.We are not running arms warior in raids, for bleed benefits ;[

You are using BT > WW > Slam > Exe with HS and Rend when you can, spamming the buttons as they come up not waiting for them then hitting them? If you can, get str food. Are you using your buffs with every other buff, like death wish with trinket procs + lust? Are you using potions like indestructible potion (armor = ap) then using a haste potion with your buffs (death wish + potions + trinket procs)? Changed it a little but:

Took a point out of unbridled wrath (new here, not sure if it's any good but rage isn't a problem) and 1 out of imo zerk rage (again with your gear rage should not be a problem) and out of heroic fury and put them into imp. Exe and impr intercept. Didn't really use heroic fury when I played but if it works and is useful, take 1 out of impr. int and put it in there. Are you rage starving yourself (i.e. too many heroic strikes and not enough rage for BT/WW/Slam, doing rend too many times) and I assume you have a rend macro (battle -> rend -> berserker stance).

Yes its a spam fest on the buttons.The priority i use is BT>WW>Slam>HT>Execute, if free gcd i rend HS on all the time 24/7.
I'm using foods(80 ap) and potions (indestructible potion, haste) flask (180ap) all that you mentioned and cds on right time with the procs BL.

I'm not rage starving when execute phase comes keeping standard rotation + execute. Improved execute wont help me since i don't have rage problems, but moving faster is helping me that's why i prefer Heroic Fury.

Are you getting as many buffs as before? Has the server changed, bug fixes etc? Years ago (again about 4 years ago, same as you) I was on a server that had buffs that stacked so you had DK + Enh + MM Hunter giving 3x 1.1x AP bonuses, about 1.33x total instead of 1.1x which massively helped DPS, same with rampage + feral 5% crit stacking, Icy talons + WF totem etc. Maybe that was fixed? That's worth a lot of DPS.

I`m quite sure that buff stacking is fixed or at least i did not see it stacks.

try this out. the 2/5 in enrage is up almost 100% in ICC and it's a 4% bonus damage that is great. you dont really need imp.zerk rage, there's a lot of rage with that gear and ICC damage and whatnot

I was thinking to test enrage, unfortunately i don't have good gear with hit so i will probably gonna test this spec with 3 points into enrage and 4/5 Unbridled Wrath to see the up time on enrage and dps difference.

Unbridled wrath is a poor talent. Each point gives small chance to generate 1 extra rage point on meele hit (which are only your of swings since rest, including heroic strike are abilities). Anger Management in arms tree is better than 5 points in this.

I would recommend you to try to drop it completely, see if it changes anything for you.

If dropping it completely there is no place where i can put the points and gain actually some dmg benefits.
A bit more rage time to time is +ev other talents on fury tree tier 1 to 3 are just utilities.

How can enrage be 100% up in icc pls explain ?

That is the question of personal preference and playstyle. I did not notice any difference between 5/5 and 0/5 UW, so I rather picked some utility. You might notice something, its just worth looking into.

There used to be a bug proccing enrage from any dmg taken and since every single fight in icc has some form of aoe spell dmg it used to be up almost 100% time. It was repaired though, proccing only on meele hits like its supposed to, so its dps increase only if you manage to overaggro an add (great for pugs on dbs).

I did test on enrage last night in icc 10 hc, uptime was like under 5%.The strange thing was that my dps was like 2k lower with that spec .
I really have a crappy neck after i change it things should go better. Rest of my gear is in top 5 for best in that slot so i should be fine.

A feral druid in the raid with the mangle bleed debuff would boost your DPS noticeably. You're also stacking sunder armors, yeah? With how little rogues/prot warriors there are in raids, that job is usually left to fury warriors.

Though yeah, you definitely seem to be doing fine for your gear. It's a shame how far fury warriors are behind what they used to be on retail :(
