Well , me and dosen of my friends are waiting, if it does happen Lordaeron will have dosen of moltens oldest players back and we probably wont be the only "old school crew" coming back.
Ofc it all depends on Lordaerons coin shop limitations and it being progressive realm . If not, than its just the same as other realms and not worth coming back.
Will be posted as soon as possible. Not forgotten, not given up on. Community members' expectations and our inspiration are not light to toss ideas in and out easily. We hope to set a new standard with Lordaeron, a new standard at least compared to existing realms and depending on feedback possibly apply aspects of it to other realms.
Hi, just wanted to add another perspective.
I would absolutely love to switch from MOP (currently on Frostwolf) to a progressive WOTLK server. Rather than emphasizing the nostalgic reasons, I think it's really important to consider Lordaeran in the context of retail WoW. Ever since MOP, the game is so incredibly dumbed-down that a lot of veteran players are jumping ship. I think reviving Lordaeron would bring in a lot of players who are leaving retail. I myself am much more interested in all aspects of WoW before they were trivialized in MOP/WoD: trekking out to an instance summoning stone, walking between leveling zones/cities, low level questing etc. Unfortunately I think this would be a really big challenge for Warmane, as a 1x rate would require a lot of the lower lvl dungeons to be scripted, as well as quests (not sure how the WOTLK servers are here - but MOP and Cata were always composed mainly of fetch/kill/autocomplete quests as they were always sufficient to boost ur char through to the next leveling zone).
TLDR; I'm another player really enthusiastic about playing on Lordaeron once it's released!
I would defiantly play on Lordaeron. I have tryed Deathwing warmane realm and cannot contiune any further; seeing players running around with rare mounts from the marketplace and everyone is wrathful geared, to me that is not blizzlike at all.
Progressive wotlk realm with restricted donations , Kaer trust me it will be popular realm !
Kaer can we have an aproximate date ? atleast which month ?
If donations will not be allowed on Lordaeron, then I will definitly go there!
Could we please get this server now, without transfers from or to the realm :D (Deathwing transfers ruined last Lordaeron)
Seeing how slow it is going, the hype's been killed :-( (atleast for me), so getting the server now will probably not happen, I'm expecting it in august/september I'd say (my personal opinion).Quote:
