Fighting against a rogue?

I'm not certain if this is the right thread to post this in... but I'll go ahead anyway.

How does a caster go about killing a rogue? I swear I haven't seen a stickier class in this game except for maybe the DK. As soon as I have a rogue on me on my priest/warlock I can already give up and just watch as he stabs my *** to death.

It doesn't matter if I use my escapes because he has thousands of stuns/snares, if I fear him and run away a few feet he just trinkets out and teleports to me and starts stabbing again. Admittedly I barely have vicious gear on my priest and that could be the cause of it... but that doesn't explain why I get owned on my warlock that has ruthless gear on him and a few cataclysmic pieces. I suck against these two classes and I need to know how to fight them.

doesn't matter cata or mop, rouge are over power, they can stun you nonstop, our escape is useless, as much as their stun their damage should be less, but on waremane, they can just one shot you add that they can stun you nonstop.
regardless of what they say, nothing wrong with rouge, yeah running around one shot people, nothing wrong at all.

Yep, there is definitely something wrong with Rogue damage. A 510 ilvl rogue killed my full grievous warrior in less than 1.5 seconds in A DUEL.

pve trinkets...they dont downscale in pvp as they should. also 2 weeks ago there was the buff stacking bug which now may be fixed.

Stop complaining and learn how to play against rogues. They are the anti caster. Just like togues struggle to defeat monks.

yeah. rogues were a JOKE back when i played live.
if people are complaining that rogues are killing players THAT fast (when a rogue opened on me, did only 5% of my health in a good amount of time for me to kill him) then they are indeed bugged here.

Being able to play the classes you're fighting is almost as important as being able to play your own class. Make a rogue and actually learn what abilities they have and when they're prone to using them instead of throwing them all in a big pile called "thousands of stuns/snares" that provides you with no anticipatory information whatsoever. Priests/warlocks are both punchbag classes with low escapes in an expansion where rogues are kings, of course you're gonna lose all the time when all you're doing is flailing your arms around blindfolded.

Didnt know that warriors were casters.

Rogues are taking 25-40% of my health before they even come out of stealth, then the 3 second stun gives them more than enough time to kill me. It's not right that a rogue is hitting just as hard as a warrior and twice as fast, with all that cc and damage avoidance, it's definitely not supposed to be like that.

Guys... stop qqing about warriors and rogues, just make a ret haha. Rogues are easy on cata, cc them son't let them restart on you, use ur burst and trinkets properly.

Ret is trash until 510+ and even then you die really easily with all the cc most classes dish out.

Rogues on cata...just afk and let them kill you in a 1v1. Especially if they run around with Vial/Nok's/BLF/4 PvE armour pieces.
