[A] 25m Achievement Group (alliance side, Ragnaros)
NOTE: This is a weekly group and not a guild recruitment; you can stay in your guild and still come to these raids

• As many of you know warmane has started applying the highest achieves of all of your toons on your account and using this value to calculate how many bonus points you can get each day to use in the point shop
• We are looking for geared players (6k+) to farm a slew of more difficult 25m raid achieves and even attempt ones that are currently "impossible"

We will be attempting the following achieves (total 2360 pts) on 10m and 25m
Naxx

• The Dedicated Few (25 player)
• The Safety Dance (25 player)
• Shocking! (25 player)
• Subtraction (25 player)
• Spore Loser (25 player)
• And They Would All Go Down Together (25 player)
• Just Can't Get Enough (25 player)
• The Immortal

Sartharion (OS)

• Gonna Go When the Volcano Blows (25 player)
• The Twilight Zone (25 player) (includes all other achieves so subtract if you already have them)

Malygos (when it becomes live)

• The Spellweaver's Downfall (25 player)
• You Don't Have An Eternity (25 player)
• A Poke In The Eye (25 player)

Ony

• Many Whelps! Handle It! (25 player)
• She Deep Breaths More (25 player)

Ulduar
This instance is pretty buggy at the moment but we will try to do every achieve in here

• 705 pts total possible once everything is fixed (assume we can do a third of that currently but we will still try)

ICC
These are done in icc25n

It's forbidden kitting the Gunship fight, nearly every guild got banned for it after the re-launch.
The Immortal/Undying and Gonna Go When the Volcano Blows was bugged(not working) like 2 months ago, I doubt it's fixed yet.
The rest should be working fine, with a bit of good leading should be doable, good luck!

You're right about I'm on a Boat. I suppose that this group could try a strategy where we are not using anything that could ban us. It is possible to ping-pong the boss using taunts much like on heroic Lich King 25's enrage.

At some point mobs will not be able to fly to attack you, either, and they would only path to you using the ground they have available, meaning the (official) retail strategy then could work. In retail we would have a tank jump up using gunship rocket pack to any part of the boat where the boss still run to, and then the tank jumps down before the boss could get into melee range. While we can't use that strategy yet, it's possible to do it like that with the movement code fixes coming from Lordaeron. I definitely want to try a ping pong strategy. The boss moves very quickly and we won't be able to slow him though... but Lich King also moves I think at the same rate. Lich King doesn't have a throwing ability like High Overlord Saurfang & Muradin Bronzebeard do (Rending Throw: http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=70309/rending-throw ). However it's possible perhaps to misdirect the boss to someone out of range of rending throw? I don't know. We will have to see if we can solve this without getting banned. I would never suggest us do any tactic that could result in a ban.

Immortal isn't scripted properly you're right however if we do a run and stream it and as long as our group do not do anything that is bannable, it's possible that Warmane could grant the achievement to us if we prove we can do it. It would be worth putting a ticket in to get the Immortal title for sure!

Considering that the LoS is still glitchy on DW and Rag ping-pong should be doable, if it's fully working he should become invicible [evading all the damage] and be stuck in a place which still would be considered as an exploit.
But having 3-4 hunters around the boat and just using their distracting shot and feign death when he's about to hit them should work, while staying on his boat.
The Rending throw shouldn't be an issue for the healers.

Five hunters in a circle around him on each corner of the boat was my thought, taunting him in sequence and feign death before he gets to each one.

Warmane has stated that they will not ban for buggy scripts as long as the raid was not intending to exploit. There are stairs up to the top of the alliance boat, so when the pathing code is implemented, the boss should follow a tank up appropriately to the top and then run back down the stairs just like on retail. If any mob gets stuck and starts to evade, well that is not working as intended but it's also not the raid's fault in my opinion unless they were trying to glitch him intentionally. Using retail strats on any boss on Warmane should not be ever ever ever considered an exploit. The onus in my opinion should remain on Warmane to make the fixes they can make as soon as they can... but of course it's their server so it's also up to them how they apply their bans. The best approach for players is to try not to break the rules and always go into a fight both in pvp and pve in a way that is not likely to glitch anything or break anything.

Blizzard has banned people in the past appropriately for breaking scripts and doing bosses in a way that was not intended but as Blizzard increases the complexity of their scripts, they can expect that players will sometimes adapt in a way that will be very unexpected. An example of this is during Wotlk when a guild glitched Yogg +0 in order to get World first, and was banned temporarily for doing so, and also lost their achievements in the process and it was the Stars guild who eventually came up with an appropriate strategy for doing Yogg+0 that was absolutely genius and did not cause the boss to glitch or the encounter to behave outside of the expected design. Let's do Ulduar 25 pug this Saturday and try to knock out as many bosses as we can. I will be taking mostly players that overgear this instance.
